Alex Hertel is a versatile DJ from Germany whose journey spans from melodic soundscapes to the raw intensity of underground techno. Starting out in the vibrant electronic scene around Mannheim, he quickly made a name for himself with hypnotic, driving, and melodic sets that captivated dancefloors in some of the region’s most iconic clubs and festivals.

While deeply rooted in Melodic Techno and Melodic House, Alex is equally at home delivering powerful and darker Techno sets, fusing emotional depth with relentless energy. His versatility allows him to move fluidly between uplifting atmospheres and raw intensity, always creating a unique connection with the crowd.

He’s a resident DJ at renowned event series such as Stromverschwendung, Format, and Release², and has played at respected venues and festivals across the region. One of his standout moments was the release of his remix of Hans Zimmer’s “Time”, which gained him widespread attention and significantly expanded his reach.

With original productions set to be released soon, Alex Hertel continues to evolve, pushing boundaries and shaping the future of his sound — one powerful set at a time.

My journey into music began a long time ago when a close friend first introduced me to production. Since then, I’ve been exploring sound with curiosity and dedication.

I’m an independent electronic producer from Sofia, Bulgaria, crafting deep house grooves, hypnotic rhythms, and experimental layers into raw underground soundscapes. I don’t chase trends - I focus on atmosphere: shadowy textures and raw emotion made for the underground.
