This is a cut of my set on Quixosis's show on Worldwide FM entitled 'Closer to the Sun' back in April.

He kindly invited me to do a mix with a concept of the line of the Equator and the countries that lie within. I took this wonderful challenge and chose to dig deep into the sounds of Indonesia, finding magical Indo 45s & 78's and some modern pieces within some small Jakarta based music forums.

ECM was founded by Manfred Eicher in Munich in 1969 and soon developed into a melting pot of interesting musical fusions. Jazz, folk, classical music, various African, Asian, South American and European sound idioms, minimalism, ambient, avant-garde and electronic music came together in the ECM cosmos. Artists such as Don Cherry, Steve Reich, Meredith Monk, the Art Ensemble of Chicago, Jon Hassell, Eberhard Weber, Carla Bley, Keith Jarrett and Arvo Pärtt have found a home there.

help! it is high quality mattress, but way too soft.  i am sinking into grooves. it is a nice platform bed so i don't think plywood will help.

i've been researching latex toppers and i am confused about their numbering system and how thick i should try, or if there is anything else i can do...

anyone have similar experiences or ideas?
