I am pleased to present the first part of my 6 hour Journey "Ethereal Transformation". We begin by journeying towards our heart centre - here we access the boundless connection to the universe and the realisation of the power of compassion. I have had some amazing soul enriching trips over the past year, and trips to Varanasi and Bali in particular have opened certain realisations within.

We are all essentially beings of light. Love is what we are born with, fear is what we learn. The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and prejudices and the acceptance of love back in our hearts.  Start seeing the divine possibilities, Elevate yourself and help those in need :) Appreciate the notion of peace across humanity when we let go of negative emotions/things/people and appreciate the beauty of all. Embrace the awakening of an inner understanding of immense power within, willed on by nature and universe.

Ethereal Transformation Part 1 ~ Journey to the Heart Centre: Compassion

Sek Sheng, also known by his artist name ‘Dr Foo’, is a sound meditation facilitator, musician and DJ who holds space and prescribes music for healing and integration of deeper aspects of the self. He has immersed in and been trained in sound healing, yoga, meditation and music production in an ever evolving journey in the past 10 years.

Dr Foo believes that sound is a universal language that can re-awaken our innate power and connection with all, and serve as a fun yet sacred medium for healing and understanding. His journeys emphasise the importance of owning our darkness before true healing and expansion can occur.  

His sound healing journeys interweave live therapeutic instruments (singing bowls, harp, melodic drums etc) with electronic music (hypnotic synths, binaural beats), nature sounds, ethnic music and mantras across cultures. It is a reflection of his journey starting as an underground club DJ in Melbourne to immersing in yogic journeys in India & Bali, and then realising the power of sound for therapy.  

In recent years he has curated soundscapes for yoga and meditation events, full & new moon sound healing journeys as well as ecstatic/conscious dance events.

Né en 1974 ,Dj en résidence dès 1997 ; découverte des premiers morceaux new wave en 1984 puis tombé dans la techno dès la fin des années en tant qu'auditeur, Zian passe ensuite derrière les platines  . 1997 est une année charnière avec la découverte du pur son tribal house de l'époque . Les premières platines vinyles arrivent rapidement  pour passer l'étape supérieure . A partir de 2005  un tournant musical avec des sons ethno , lunge et trance  dans les sets apparait.
