GHOSTDANCERS (named after the doomed North American Indian religious movement of the 1890's) was formed in 2000 in Sunderland, UK.

A few demos recorded in the shack. These songs were recorded over a year ago in a garage. Real simple set-up. Microphone in front of Bill's amp and one for vocal. Occasionally a few overdubs were done. Slave to your Lovin, Black and White Bird and The Way,  I (Lee Barry) added guitars and the like. Bill has stacks more songs to record. BluesPixie originally hails from sunny Scunthorpe (Northern England), which is enough to give anyone the blues good n' proper. He taught himself harmonica by keeping warm next to hot steel on night shifts at the Steelworks. About 10 years ago he popped out for a small glass of cider and when he awoke, was surprised to find a decade had passed, he could play guitar and his head hurt.

I'm from east st Louis il born and raised the 12th child of 14 and been doing music sense the age of 13 but I never write all my music comes off the top of my head some people call me the lady jay z

A lover of great music in all it's forms who enjoys the challenge of bringing something new into the musical world and knowing the joy it can bring to all even through the darkest times.

I use a combination of my tried and trusted Fender Squier 50's Vibe Beach Blonde Telecaster guitar, my recent lucky find of a perfectly good Westfield Stratocaster copy, my Tanglewood semi-acoustic guitar, my Ovation Ukulele and a rather cheap and cheerful USB keyboard recorded directly on to GarageBand on my iPad via the iRig and Zoom Multi-stomp Bluetooth peddles. I have now added the brand new Zivix Jamstik+ to my instrument collection which is great instrument for adding depth, power and orchestration to my new recordings. I have now added my brand new Fender Kingman SCE Acoustic Bass Guitar to the mix.

My only rule for making music is that I give myself just 2-3 hours from conception, to recording, to mixing and editing the song before posting to Soundcloud. Please forgive me if some of my recordings are a bit sloppy and too short!

I suspect you all wonder why I play mostly reflective tunes. That may be due to the fact I seem to major at the minor chord?

I like to thank all the people who have stumbled on to my humble music, left kind encouraging comments and liked my offerings. Soundcloud is a wonderful place to meet like-minded people and rejoice in the spirit of a world family who all share the same musical values.

And remember. Live and cherish life as this is no band rehearsal!
