It’s Microsoft Windows '98. It’s Fruitger Aero. It’s the world you can create in the confines of a cubicle. It’s NOT The Dare because he didn’t invent wearing a suit. It’s Japanese businessmen missing the last train leaving Shinjuku station and having to stay out all night. It’s not cynicism. It’s optimism. It’s finding beauty in things that are plain. It’s gender. It’s PRADA SPORT. It’s MIU MIU F/W 2007. It’s early iPod Advertising. It’s Miranda Hobbes. It’s being pushed into the swimming pool with all your clothes on. It’s snagging your tights out on the lawn chair. It’s the queering of Patrick Bateman. It’s being confused about what is business casual so you just throw a blazer over what you’d normally wear.
