2201 is a classically trained composer with experience in music for film, stage and multimedia. Drawing on a wide range of sources, including raw and altered field recordings, analogue and digital sound synthesis, to produce slowly evolving sonic fields to encourage the listener to explore notions of perception, context, and movement, seeking to heighten awareness of the present moment.

Oblik Lines is the project of Sébastien Gulluni, a French composer and sound designer involved in electronic music with a certain cinematic feel.

As a former researcher in the field of computer music, Sebastien's work for Oblik Lines emphasis a desire to discover new sound colors and melt genres  by experimenting. His work combines melodic and textural material by using computers, hardware synthesizers and acoustic instruments. The result of these experiments is an organic mixture, definitively melodic. Sebastien claims the universality of music to transmit human emotions and creates a music that is both thought and accessible. To this end, he uses melodies and textures as a recall of our personal experiences.

I spin cinematic contemporary classical music

I like to write poetry, do photography, and make dark ambient music mixes

Sana Obruent is the drone/ambient project from Paul Lopez who lives “somewhere in California”. His music is recorded live, at night and in total isolation – which is something you can hear.

The best description is imagining he's out in the hills somewhere concocting this stuff at the dead of night. Most of his tracks come in at around the ten minute mark and consist of subtly evolving tones in which is firmly set to "relax". 

Like the best music of this genre it undulates and churns. Coming in and out of focus like a blurred photograph of something terribly bleak.


You may listen, you may even witness something slightly disturbing, but you are unable to move.
