In the vast expanse of the universe, beyond the reaches of our known reality, lies a realm of infinite layers, each harbouring its secrets and mysteries. The rhythmic pulse of Dub Techno finds its resonance within this intricate web of cosmic dimensions.
At the heart of this sub-universe is a clandestine gathering known as the Assembly of Frequencies. The Assembly comprises beings from diverse corners of the cosmos, united by their shared affinity for the ethereal realm of sound. They convene within an interdimensional chamber, concealed within the fabric of space-time, to explore the harmonic tapestry that connects the layers of existence.
Each layer of the sub-universe is a universe in itself, woven together by celestial threads of energy and vibration. The Assembly of Frequencies seeks to decipher this interplay, unlocking the underlying harmony reverberating through the cosmic corridors. Their ultimate quest is to unveil the primordial composition that binds all layers together—a symphony of existence.
Within the Assembly, a luminary named Synchrona emerges as a critical figure, possessing an innate ability to discern the rhythmic patterns within the fabric of the sub-universe. With their transcendent perception, Synchrona serves as a bridge between the layers, traversing the borders of reality with grace and precision. They delve deep into the subtleties of Dub Techno, decoding the frequencies that resonate within the spaces between dimensions.
As Synchrona's understanding deepens, they realize that Dub Techno mirrors the intricate architecture of the sub-universe. Its pulsating beats mimic the vibrations of celestial bodies, while the ethereal echoes and reverberations embody the intangible connections that bind the layers together. As the Assembly of Frequencies continues to unravel the mysteries of the sub-universe, their insights reshape the understanding of Dub Techno, infusing it with a newfound spiritual depth. This project has developed different facets, including a career as an interpreter and audio producer when experimenting with a wide variety of musical sequences. It seeks the integration of oscillating interpersonal ideas among the variety of solid conceptions.
This project also defines the transformation of the artist that has developed under different aliases for several years.

Medha is a Leipzig based Dj and promoter as a member of the PVC collective. Since the end of 2021 she is the co-host of the well-known event series aequalis at Ifz. Her passion for technoid music is shaped by her constant search for inspiration and new tracks, which she brings together in her mixes with a mixture of intuition and thought. Influenced by the Berlin and Leipzig culture and club scene, she has developed her own way of expressing her passion. Her sound is characterised by concise basslines and rougher elements on the one hand, but also by deep and driving rhythms and repetitive sounds. Recently, she has played in clubs such as Tresor Berlin, Ifz Leipzig or Sirococlub Madrid.

We recorded this podcast in a way we love to start most of our sets. Beginning with the deeper side of techno, slowly moving to more groovy and energetic techno, trying to mix it as a nice story for the listener. We always try to pay attention to dynamic changes in the kick and groove while focusing on hypnotic and spacey sounds that elevate during the set.

We just released a double pack of remixes from our Midnight Ensemble album, and we are celebrating 15 years of Dynamic Reflection this summer. This will be celebrated by a series of 5 vinyl EPs with 20 tracks from label resident artists and new upcoming talents. For us, this is a big milestone we achieved with the label.

Paula has been walking her case since the late 90s through the best venues and festivals in Spain, Europe and South America, highlighting her presence in such important events as Awakenings, DGTL, Brunch in the Park, Dreambeach, Aquasella and many more.
As an artist, we find ourselves in front of a real DJ, without frills. Her sets are built in the purest old school style: Technique, fast and smart mixes, versatility and eclecticism. She is characterized by hooking the listener on a journey without rest that can encompass everything from groove to dark and raw sounds. Her influences come from artists as diverse as James Ruskin, The Advent, Ben Sims, Surgeon or Slam, to name a few.

"Last November, I’ve had the chance to play a closing set right after Paramida and Alex Kassian on a Thursday night at Badaboum in Paris for Cahiers Electroniques. The night not being Techno oriented, I tried to respect the progression of the running order on building a groovy set, full of percussions and quite dub focused. It turned out super energetic and people were transported by the storytelling - it’s a very good memory that I wanted to share with Vurt as I’m playing at the venue in Seoul on January 6.

It’s a pure best of 2023 what I have been playing this year with some classic tunes that come time to time in my sets from Ruhig to Tin Man (both timeless), Luigi Tozzi, Dorisburg, DJ Sodeyama, Justin Cudmore, Ectomorph or Ben Buitendjik. Drumcode returns with its 6th installment of the internationally celebrated A-Sides series. Renowned for fostering a shared space between industry tastemakers and rising talent alike, the careful curation that goes into each volume is a fine example of why Beyer’s brand continues to go from strength to strength.

Techno titan Adam Beyer has grown Drumcode into a force to be reckoned with; the label has become synonymous with forward-thinking, functional techno and even after 20 years, Drumcode continues to find new boundaries to push, and ways to solidify its legacy as the world’s number one techno label. 

2017 is no exception, with Beyer’s imprint hosting it’s first stage at Tomorrowland, not to mention the expansion of the critically acclaimed Junction 2 where the Drumcode stage is the centrepiece and Adam plays the key role of festival director. The Drumcode phenomenon continues to grow each week, chiefly fuelled by Drumcode Radio, Adam’s radio show that’s broadcast in 57 countries via 86 stations and to a global audience of 16 million techno fans per week. 

The A-Sides series acts as a perfect vignette of Drumcode’s cutting-edge sound; functional yet inspired techno, all tracks tried and tested by Beyer himself. Vol. 6 continues this tradition with a collection of 16 multi-faceted cuts from a mixture of both emerging artists and experienced label friends. 

The heart-throbbing bass in Amelie Lens’ electrifying piece ‘In Silence’ sets the tone for the dark and dance-floor-ready energy that Vol.6 carries the whole way through. Other standouts include Mars Bill’s rough’n’ready ‘Mohave’. Pulsating and precise, ‘Mohave’ has highlighted many of Beyer’s sets recently as has Wehbba’s monster track ‘Fake’, which fans have been anticipating the release of all year. 

Label-favourites Dense & Pika also feature on ‘A-Sides’ Vol. 6 with their hard-hitting ‘Just a Beat’ and a huge track from Beyer himself who has joined forces with Enrico Sangiuliano to bring us their undeniably infectious ‘Preset Heaven’. 

With many more notable selections from the likes of Julian Jewell, Timmo, Tiger Stripes and Pig&Dan, A-Sides Vol. 6 is another impressive addition to the label’s prolific release roster and a testament to why Drumcode remains at the forefront of the electronic world.
