As Duplicity, EJA emerged onto the local Scottish scene in late 2019, playing at events around Edinburgh and Glasgow and quickly earning a residency spot at Edinburgh's grittiest, no holds barred event series and collective, Powerhouse.

Over 2020, EJA has refined his sound and general approach, focusing on deep, hypnotic, groovy and loopy elements, largely inspired by artists such as Rene Wise, Setaoc Mass, Yant, Marrøn and the HAYES collective.
Expect to hear a combination of these elements with a multi- layered mixing approach to take you on an ever-evolving, dance floor orientated, high-tempo groove session throughout!
