Welcome to Drone Select. The place for talented Techno Minded Heroes from around the Globe. This artist showed up in our DM’s after we asked what we could improve and who you wanted to see on the podcast on our IG stories. 

He send us some mixes he did in the past and asked if it is something we would broadcast on our Drone Select Podcast series. After listening his DJ work we were sold right away. 

He recorded a new mix starting with some hypnotic and deep vibes, bursting into more uptempo techno and ended up with a beautiful breakbeatish track. We would like to welcome Luciene on the next Drone Select podcast!

For this new episode of our codecast Y series, we’re glad to introduce PHYC.

Originally from Portugal, but nowadays based in Amsterdam and always learning and evolving from its scene, he has developed a mixing style in which fast paced and raw sounds are the perfect tool to achieve the desired resut: Deliver energetic sets that can impact both mind and body, challenging the listener’s perception.
He played in clubs such as Claire, 8sixA, John Doe and Club Atelier. He also created the UNNOTED podcast series that aims to shine a light on less known artists in Amsterdam and abroad, with an aim on more extended sets, peak time energy is the idea behind all guests sets.

Working on improving the production output, the studio has kept him busy on creating his own material and releases, which we are really looking forward to listening.

Emika Elena is a Berlin based DJ/producer and founder of HumanLessons. Music has always been a huge part of her life, ever since she started playing piano in her family home at the age of 4, but it was the discovery of techno in her early teens that led her to become a DJ. 

Her trademark sound is often described as "hypnotic darkness" which intersects expressions of ambient, experimental, and techno in her mixes.

She is breaking out of standards and creating a new feeling of deepness and true creativity. You can hear her authenticity carrying you to the spheres of your inner soul.
