After releasing his debut "Brighter Future" last year, Belgian DJ/producer Gratts returns with an EP showcasing his skill crafting emotive house cuts. Written while stuck in Adelaide in 2020, "Euphoria" was dreamed up during coastal car rides, windows down, bumpin' beats, with added musings by local legend Brian Ruiz. When "Méditation Nocturne" kicks off we're still in the car - this time on a nocturnal meander through the ill-lit Adelaide hills, evoking misty feelings of nostalgia.
On the flipside, DiY Discs' staple PJ Principle (fka Peej) out of Nottingham steers "Euphoria" straight into disco heaven with a tasty Linn Drum groove, piano and guitar - a cut that wouldn't sound out of place on a Steely Dan record. Last but not least, New York's Jenifa Mayanja delivers a lush and dreamy rework of "Méditation Nocturne" that’s sure to captivate dancefloors worldwide.

The stage is always set for the next phase with Corni’s music, and with his record ‘Cables Wynd House’, a new pattern of his audial language begins to take shape, and its a very beautiful one at that. Continuing on with Corni’s love affair with all things Leith, the title of the EP refers to the iconic ‘Banana Row’ housing estate that towers up within the district of Edinburgh, a brutal and gorgeous structure which binds lateral lines with social interaction and everyday living. Much like the impressive structure it is paying homage to, the record itself is, in our eyes, Corni’s most complete work to date, with his already accomplished sound spread out and explored to its absolute limits on this 4 tracker. Kicking things off with ‘Closed (Zarkoff Poetry Vocal)’, the immediate context is filled with his classic drum patterns, with the bass following soon after, and then the chords kick in. The space is filled with this beautiful harmony, a floating etherealness that strikes right through the heart, and as the vocal sample slides into view, everything just makes sense. Try listening to this one as the warmth of the sunset occupies your world view. ‘Body Techno’ comes next, and this cut contains some of the evolutionary work which Corni has displayed significantly in his previous works, with a dense mid section giving rise to rich acid tones and heavy set bass notes and cymbal patterns. ‘Glue City’ evokes the same feelings as the opener, building upon an expertly crafted rhythmic and bass sequences with sublime melodic overtures which once again find a wonderful balance between one another. ‘Pills’n’Drills’ lands at the end, and this one is glorious, reminding us of that very specific early to mid 90s Detroit House and Techno feel, with a steady yet fast paced beat leading the line as life affirming synths roll across the top. Sheer bliss is achieved in these 4 tracks, that speak of life and its many twists and turns, along with a reflective sense of emotion and what we feel transposed alongside what the music is conveying to us on the same level.

So why not join us as we meander through essences, flavours and meanings, joyously walking along to a soundtrack that gives over so much and fuels our imaginations with passion - its House in its most glorious form, raw and undulating, clean cut and tender, and never ever wavering…

His material has graced many taste making labels, while his DJ sets have taken him to hotspots like Panorama Bar, Fabric, Smart Bar, Razzmatazz, Floyd, Video Club, Tangent Gallery and many more. Here we see Barera, a prolific collaborator who drops solo albums as well, delivering his first solo ep in six years via the fledgling Off Track Recordings. Wire Parasitism EP is inspired by the electronic music which was produced during the end of the 80’s and beginning of the 90s by the likes of Richard H. Kirk, Psychic TV, Coil, David Campbell or Lagowski (to name a few). Walid El Barbir uses his unique producing & sampling skills to create contemporary and industrial sounding compositions out of found footage like occult documentaries, rave stabs or Emax sound-libraries.

Walid El Barbir is a part of the collective Les Points based in Zürich, Switzerland. 
His art/music draws from 90's rave utopias, occultism, progressive & accessible frameworks as showcased at their offspace Mikro - 
a physical room which has no doors and opening times during exhibitions and raves - making an institution available to all social layers.

Ahhhh the joys of creating a new label! I have started Holding Hands Again to bring to light some records from the past that I adore and think should be made more widely available so that everyone can slam them in the club.

Bushwacka! is without a doubt one of the main influences behind the main Holding Hands label. His UK take out house and techno then lead onto his groundbreaking labels Oblong and Plank that have inspired many of the generations that came after him. I love those breaks releases and play a lot of them in my sets but my favourite of his cuts are actually his super early releases that he put out on his own label Sound As A Pound. Volume 1, 2 and 3 are packed with gems and sound just as original today as they did in the mid 90s. They are incredibly rare and sought after by any DJ who knows their stuff, which is why I am so pleased to be able to share three of my favourite tracks from those releases.

I chose three that covered a broad range of sound. Loopy trippy house, techno with a ton of soul and one straight up classic house banger. I have also done a garage remix of track 8 myself to bring another spin on his unique sound.

This re release has been freshly remastered for maximum boost and sounds fat as fuck on a system.
