Oh what a beautiful morning! This was the opening set of the festival for the Boombox Stage at this years Earth Frequency in Queensland, Australia!

I shared a video clip of this set to my Instagram and it went viral- garnering over 1.6 million views and a whole lot of hate comments. This response has fortified my intention and sense of purpose behind my DJing- which is to create inclusive, safe and sacred sonic spaces for community to come together to dance, move, heal, love, play, express, expand, connect, and celebrate life, free from judgement or derision.

Drop Frame is a multigenre bass music DJ/Producer based in Naarm (Melbourne, Australia)


Known for his technical, bass driven sets - he drives dancefloors to new energetic heights.

His sets are a guided tour into the world of cutting edge bass music, perfectly balanced between moments of energetic fire and uplifting expansive melodies. 

Contrasts, story-telling and movement are the key foundations to a Drop Frame set. Primarily focused towards the ecstatic and exciting energy of Half-time and Drum & bass.

Drop Frame is also known for his production skills since his formative years in the Perth rave scene, the most recent of which being the psychedelic Half-time album ‘Hypercolour’. His production has been supported by multiple tastemakers such as - Inspector Dubplate, Good Karma Music, Inthemix, Triple J and multiple touring artists.
