DJ HISTORY: The first place Andy DJ`d was in the 6th form common room and didn`t play out again until into his 40s...dancing always came first! The SUNK parties in London were a launch pad, co-hosting with Chris Chippindale and Truly Madly. Andy has played at various venues up and down the UK - with upcoming bookings at "Funk In The Forest" Brithdir Hall in Welshpool, Wales and "MLD goes live - Dub & Techno infused Festival" in Premnitz, Germany.

INSPIRATION: Andy is grateful for the friendships he has forged via the Discogs community - helping cultivate and develop his varied taste in music. Time spent on the dancefloor at the "Bleep43" nights in the Corsica Studios, London, exposed Andy to some of the worlds most legendary underground DJ`s and producers.

For the forty first episode we invite Jay White, GOT Music alumni back again, he previously put together Episode 41, this time approaching things from a slightly different angle. I really enjoy JAy's mixes, they more often than not take me down a rabbit hole of new labels and producers that I had not come across and this mix is no different.

The mix is Slow Life Initialising, in his words is the process of embracing a lifestyle that emphasises a more intentional and deliberate approach to daily life, focusing on quality over quantity and slowing down to appreciate the present moment.

I  agree that the mix is embodies this concept, I've had a great couple of listens, while busy with my work day and also will full focus and attention on the speakers. I enjoyed the latter much more and encourage you to do the same.

Luismi aka guisvi (@guisvi), a music lover for more than 3 decades, has a wide range of atmospheric music.
