Wild Beasts are to release a special edition of their fourth album, Present Tense, on 13th October 2014. To accompany the original, critically acclaimed album is a bonus disc of remix material from artists including Factory Floor, Juan Atkins, Lone, East India Youth, Sohn as well as a brand new remix of ‘Palace’ from Foals.
 
The Special Edition will be available on Double CD (WIGCD279X) and as a Digital Bundle (WIG279XD), with an instant grat of the Foals remix – you can order this at po.st/PresentTenseSE. There will also be a limited edition white label 12” (RUG630T) to accompany the CD release, featuring the Juan Atkins, SOHN, Steve Moore and Foals remix, released on the same date. Opening track from 'Music Industry 3. Fitness Industry 1.' - an EP of new songs and remixes from Mogwai. The EP contains three new songs stemming from the writing and recording sessions for their critically acclaimed album Rave Tapes, released earlier this year, alongside remixes of three songs from that record by Blanck Mass, Pye Corner Audio and Nils Frahm. Recorded at the band’s Castle Of Doom studio in Glasgow, by the band with Paul Savage, the EP will be available in digital, CD and very limited edition 12-inch vinyl formats via Rock Action from 1st December 2014.

In 2010 Anathema released We’re Here Because We’re Here, the band’s first new album for almost seven years. The album was awarded Classic Rock’s Prog Album of the Year as well as a host of other accolades and the producer, Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree), has described it as “definitely among the best albums I’ve ever had the pleasure to work on.”
The band now return with Weather Systems, their brand new studio album. The album will be available as a limited edition 2 disc set which will come packaged in a deluxe digibook and feature a 5.1 surround sound mix of the album.

Anathema have been at the forefront of the UK rock/metal movement for many years. They began their journey as pioneers of melodic heavy music, influencing a myriad of bands to follow them, before outgrowing all genres and limitations as they fearlessly explored new territory and new ways to express feeling through sound.

Formed in Liverpool in 1990, the band’s sound, and musical vision has continually evolved over the ensuing years while always remaining true to their original goal of creating forward thinking, meaningful, passionate and honest music. The line-up is really a collective of two families who were quite simply born to do it. Anathema consists of brothers Vincent, Daniel and Jamie Cavanagh, alongside childhood friends John Douglas and his sister Lee, who is an incredible singer in her own right.

There is a deeper bond in the group that transcends usual band politics, ego, and self-interest. They have a shared vision: to make the most incredible music they possibly can, and it seems, despite the lavish praise heaped on the band for their past work, that they are now taking their work to a whole new level.
