For the final KANNMIX of the year, we asked Berlin rooted DJ @Ori-Raz – the Tel Aviv grown resident of the fantastic @motivo-positivo parties and co-founder @LiquidMemory produces dance music under his name and with his friend @eellrroo. Here´s one hour an a half house cuts elegantly served by Ori for our souls to flange nicely into a better new year.

This track opens the Outlier album. It’s built from tension, that kind of magnetic pull on the dancefloor where everything’s unspoken, but understood. A little sweat, a little danger, that flicker of eye contact that changes everything. No introductions. No questions. Just energy.

I wanted something French house inspired, but not obvious. Clean mix, sexy groove, no vinyl static. I created a conversation with the vocal and sax responding to each other, almost like foreplay and that’s where the track finally lets go.

This one's for the ones who never needed to ask.

Ancut is the Italian DJ and producer based in Berlin behind the unique sound of the majority of records released in our niche over the past few years. Analogcut has been mastering releases with craft and wonder at the hands of Ancut. 

As a DJ, he has been building a stellar collection for 15 years. His sound is completed by his own productions he records with computer-free hardware sessions. His love for analog has built the road for his own imprint Discarded Gems, and he himself is a regular guest across Europe’s underground scene and Berlin’s Superluminal parties.
