i did a rework of this like, a year ago, maybe more but even tho i played it in sets and had it on SC it never felt good enough. at least by my standards. so, i finally took the time in between family stuff here at christmas time to do it up better. it could still be better but i think this one is acceptable whereas the old one was def not acceptable. and who knos, maybe a rework of the reworked rework will be a thing in the fyoocher. but this one will do for now. 

this is one of my fave songs ever.... so that's y the perfectionism with this one

M.I.A. - Paper Planes (A DubKno ReWorked ReWork)

i kinda redid this one to reflect the subject matter of the vocals which is the  unwritten rule in electronic music production that states that an electronic music artist has to pick a genre and only make that one genre. or if one must make other genres then one has to come up with a whole nother brand/identity/personality to go with the different style of music. which makes exactly 0 sense to me. i have a hard enough time dealing with my own flawed, awkward and at first off putting personality,if i tried to make another musical alter ego i would wear myself out so fast emotionally that i wouldn't even be able to make the music. 

so i'm bucking the rule. i make dubstep, techno and drum & bass and if that is too much for people to deal with coming from the same artist then that's not my problem. i don't mean to sound like a prick but it's the truth. if you don't like me or my music that's on you and i ain't gonna lose any sleep over it.

The Opposite

DUBstep + techNO = DubNo (Lame) + K = DubKno (Cool) and i'm not referring to the drug. not hating but that's not what it means lol the "k" is there strictly because it makes the word more symmetrical than without it. therefore, it's easier on the eyes and the short term memory

I'm a Dubstep/Techno/Drum & Bass Producer/DJ/Musician from the DC area (US) who occasionally dabbles in other genres. i also do hecka remixes. or bootlegs and unofficial flips to be exact. only to songs that i like. i don't attempt to make a song by another artist "better", i just like to throw my 2 cents at it. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. i'm still sleepin. i hope all you who see this be sleepin too. sucks to not sleep. fr fr. unless you're a tweaker. in that case, there are bigger problems to worry about
