DANK is an electronic dance music producer based out of New York City. He has remixed for artists such as Daft Punk, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Shakira, Iggy Azalea, Rita Ora, Yoko, Ono, Pitbull, Avicii, Deadmau5, Nicky Romero and Paul Oakenfold to name a few. Official remixes on labels such as Sony, RCA, Universal, Columbia, Ministry Of Sound, Disney, Virgin / EMI, Ultra Music, LE7ELS, and Armada.  Dank is an overall best selling producer in multiple genres.  In addition, he is also the CEO & Founder of Funky Element Records for the past 20 years. A DJ/ Producer/ Re-mixer/ & Label Owner, DANK has been at the forefront of electronic culture since its early inception years ago. This New York City native considered to be a pioneer of the sound currently coming out of the city that never sleeps, represents raw electronic dance music from the school of the hard knox and is knee deep in it. Fused with sexy bass and super funk, Dank has played along side some of the hottest talent on the planet. The Project:

Sizzlax is what happens when you fuse rich textures with tough broken breaks, We say leftfield electronica, but this is pretty genre-defying stuff from the South London producer and performer.


The Artist:

Sizzlax is the solo pseudonym for music producer and composer Joe Lewis.   In 2001, he graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama having principally studied classical guitar by day, and mixing garage records by night.

Joe moved in September 2001 to South London and set up his studio, Dojo Studios mainly surviving of mixing records for other artists, whilst he developed his production skills. 

Over the years, Joe has released House as JM Lewis, Drum and Bass as one half of Bipolar, and more notably Dubstep as one half of Refix.

Bootlegger Bio
The Bootlegger (Ryan Reuting) first started in Denver Colorado being influenced by the thriving underground dance scene. While inspired by artists like Uberzone, James Zabiela, Craig Richards and Phil K etc., he began producing his own original tracks while developing his own sound. 

His early electronic influences helped him develop a finely tuned ear for production quality. Bootlegger immersed himself in Colorado’s thriving electronic music community, gradually incorporating turntablism, complex break beats, and original digital music production into his live performances. Today his music is centered on his original tracks, collaborations and good old fashion bootleg remixes. 

While Bootleggers’ performances are heavily influenced by break beats, he is known to incorporate dubstep, electro and glitch- among countless other subgenres. He explains, “The main goal is always trying to stay current with new music while paying homage to dance classics.” The young producer also makes a habit of collecting cutting-edge equipment and software to enhance his live performances as well as his studio sessions. He feels at home whether in front of a run-of-the-mill set of decks or a plethora of digital and analogue gear made to destroy the dance floor and leave the crowd with something they’ve never heard before.

In early 2010, Ryan Reuting and long-time friend Jonathan Fox co-founded Kontact Productions L.L.C. with a mission to throw electronic music events in order to find a larger audience for our artists and eventually help expose Colorado’s urban art and music culture to the world. In 2012 Bootlegger was signed to a Denver based label called Elevated Movement Records. His Debut album is to be released early 2013.
