Simbie has a long standing connection to low frequency music. With dubstep at the centre, her selections move through footwork, jungle, drum & bass and beyond, shaped by a decade in Sydney’s warehouse scene. Now based in Melbourne, Simbie launched Gloam Music in 2024 - a platform for events and collaborations centred on sound system culture and forward thinking bass. She’s played clubs and festivals across Australia and shows in Japan, building a reputation for tightly curated selections that lean into darker textures and broken rhythms.

Innamind is one of, if not my favorite labels of all time, so it was a must pick for Low Pressure Zones special single label mix event. I tried to pick a bit of everything, even hitting some non-140 tempo stuff, but ended up being mostly a pick of my favorites over the years off the label.
