За пультом наш резидент Atom Dubs @atom-dubs. О том, как Максим умеет создавать вибрации на танцполах многие из вас знают не понаслышке. Поэтому этот эпизод Хроник - отличный шанс вспомнить (узнать) значение первой часть псевдонима автора. Выпуск записан в преддверии выхода первого сольного релиза артиста на домашнем лейбле (угадайте название;), и это большое событие для нас! Так что помимо мастерства в селекшене у нас есть возможность заценить треки Atom Dubs с будущего EP. Today in "Riddim Chronics" mix series we have a special episode! And there are plenty of reasons why.

Behind the decks is our resident, Atom Dubs @atom-dubs. Many of you already know firsthand how Maxim can create vibrations on the dancefloor. This episode is a perfect chance to revisit (or discover) the meaning behind the first part of the artist's pseudonym. The episode was recorded ahead of the release of Atom Dubs' debut solo project on home label (guess the name ;), and it's a significant milestone for us! So, along with his impeccable selection skills, we get the opportunity to enjoy tracks from Atom Dubs' upcoming EP. To top it off, the mix is 98% filled with dubplates by the artist himself and his colleagues, with the remaining 2% being already released tracks by Maxim.

Riddim Chronics (Pre-Release Special Mix)

We return on a track with a heavyweight debut solo release Don’t Test by Atom Dubs @atom-dubs, a resident of our community. Prepare for four powerful sound system tested bangers, each with its own unique character. 

The grimey synth "armor" of the opening track Grips sits confidently on a classic stripped-down dubstep groove. As promised in its title, the track grabs you with an unrelenting grip from the very first drop and doesn’t let go until the end. It’s followed by the equally potent and uncompromising No Gs, featuring a timely yardie message about the need to leave the gunplay behind.
The title track, Don’t Test, serves as Atom's calling card — a deep killer tune with a roller’s nature, delivering a serious warning: don’t even think about testing this soundboy. Forest Dive takes the most trippy (or even trance-like) turn in the release, infused with flashbacks from Max’s time living in Southeast Asia. Equally fitting for personal reflection or for unleashing pressure on the dance floor, this track stands out as a unique journey.

Граймовая синтезаторная «броня» стартового Grips уверенно сидит на классическом разряженном дабстеп-груве - как и обещано в названии, трек цепляет вас мертвой хваткой уже с первого дропа и не отпускает до самого конца. Ему на очередь приходит не менее мощный и бескомпромиссный No Gs с как никогда актуальным yardie-посланием о том, что со стрельбой пора завязывать. Заглавный Don’t Test - визитка Атома, глубокий боевик с характером роллера, несущий важное предупреждение: даже не пытайтесь проверять на прочность этого саундбоя. Forest Dive - самый триповый (можно даже сказать: трансовый) эпизод релиза, с грамотно заложенными внутрь флэшбэками из опыта проживания Макса в Юго-Восточной Азии. Трек одинаково хорош как для личных переживаний, так и для танцпольного давления.
