SkriptKid is the electrifying resurrection of Josh Van Riel's passion for electronic music. Re-programmed, re-wired and re-inspired to feed you hedonism by the byte.

Josh formerly produced electronic music as well as teaching it online under  'Studio Slave', his educational alias and online learning platform, predominantly focusing on techno & house.

In 2015, Josh took a hiatus away from music to focus on learning how to code and pursue some business adventures. Many lines of code later and Josh has re-emerged from this digital odyssey under his new alias, SkriptKid.

SkriptKid marks Joshes triumphant return to the music scene and embodies his love of coding and new found appreciation for his widened taste of all heavy hitting electronic music genres. SkriptKid aims to blend these worlds seamlessly. no longer out of necessity, but for the sheer love of the art.

SkriptKid is also the driving force behind audiolancer.io, an innovative electronic music marketplace where vocalists and producers can showcase and sell their tracks, samples, services, and acapellas.

Read the News. In 2020 Zurich-based duo Lukas Mayer and Ryder Ulmer began their collaboration, both producing and performing at events in Switzerland. They both possess a passion and fascination for melodic house & techno, and actively seek inspiration in various music genres.

From 2021 onwards, their productions received recognition from
several credible artists in the industry and were played at many events throughout the world. They later would go on to create their independent record label “Read the News Records” and release further productions on various other record labels.

They have shared the stage with names such as: Adriatique, Âme, Brina Knauss, Camelphat, Colyn, Denis Horvat, Kevin de Vries, Konstantin Sibold, Maceo Plex, Mathame, Marino Canal, Massano, Mind Against, Patrice Bäumel, Solomun & many more.
