Materielle (fka ILAYDA) is a Los Angeles based hypnotic and dub techno DJ & Producer and has been a part of the underground music scene for over 2 decades. She has been working for Native Instruments for 7 years and founded DECKREKORD, a label and live online venue channel, and has released on Delusional Records. Known for her 15 hour+ virtual event curations during the pandemic, every promoter was anxious to book her once everything opened back up. Kerstin Saidykhan aka Sai is a music nerd since her teens, influenced by many such as postpunk, dark wave through ska, jungle, dnb and techno. Her interest in electronic music began in the mid-90s during her social work studies, which led to her writing her thesis on Techno Culture in Germany. Dancehall and Jamaican Soundsystem culture were also a big influence on her, after she visited Jamaica twice in the late 90s. She moved to Berlin in 2001 and came into contact with the rhythm and sound vibe that immediately resonated with her. she. Sai loves creating deep atmospheric mixes around dub techno, deep house, often seasoned with some broken beats or other experimental electronic stuff. At the center of it all is the attraction of the dub scene in general, which she likes to examine in all its facets and potentials.

Welcome to Episode 194 on Poisonoise Music with this mammoth 200 minute set coming in from Dutch based artist Rugon.  

Story Arc: (time, style, drive, depth)
  
First hour: 121BPM Deep dubby techno, first subdued, further on more pronounced. 
Mid section: 123BPM Works it's way towards a vibe that could be defined as dub-tech-minimal. 
While grunchy chords are still in dub and stabbing into the deep, the beats and bass become groovy and dancefloor friendly. 
Ends as deep as it started, the very end almost flows into ambient soundscapes but the last track (by Rugon) prevents it and with that it (the track Şofer) concludes the voyage by 
steadily flowing on and away towards the deep immaculate.

Quadrant Soundscape: 
Duo consisting of Tommy Harrison (aka Asphalt Layer) and Wilson Logan (aka Scavenger) from Manchester. Together, they are the minds behind the Dub Explorations Radio Show, which has also been running live events at the famous Eastern Bloc Records for over 4 years.

The Radio Show itself has reached 100 shows, all 3 hours in length which is an insight into the dedication they have for hunting underground music to showcase and push forward. 

Over the years, the boys have featured on many podcasts across the globe, where their creative style of playing Ambient, Dub Techno, Minimal and Detroit Techno on 4 decks, while incorporating live samples is always well received. This has also led to them being invited to play many gigs in Manchester, London and Berlin.

Welcome to Episode 199 on Poisonoise Music with this set seeing the return of one of my favourite DJ's, German based artist Tom Larson.
This Mix was selected, mixed and recorded by DJ Tom Larson @ homebase.
Tom was born on October 24, 1979 in Sonneberg. At the age of 16 he discovered his love for electronic music. At that time he was inspired by music sets of Richie Hawtin, Karotte and many other artists.He also had a big interest in spinning records.
Tom began to create Mixes... He put on records in many reputable locations in his homeland and at numerous radio stations like Sputnik Radio for example. He convinced lots of parties with his ingenious DJ Skills and also wants to convince you. For Tom electronic music is just timeless.
