If life is a highway then Mix 33 from Joe Pickles is the Autobahn: Blue Mitsubishi locked in and rolling. High octane rhythms meet the crunchiest of kicks, a timeless combo that brings high energy from the outset. The mix kicks off on a euphoric tip with peak time vocal         slammers sidewinding into each other at breakneck speed. Pickles then moves it into 5th gear with stunning hardgroove rollers that pepper the ears with tribal percussion and old school stabs. 
The brief M1 organ that comes in around halfway sent me places and had me shouting insiiiide in my kitchen, as if Berlin had met Sheffield in the briefest of trysts. This moment of peace in a sea of thumping rollers is the dream of all DJs: to capture the ineffable - a feat Pickles carries out with ease. Last but not least tasteful sprinkles of breaky and bassy electro round off a belter of a mix. Perfect for my Tokyo drifters, this latest addition to our series keeps it fast and furious.

Gather for tonight's sermon. The chapel is dark, the air is thick with smoke and incense, and the only stained glass is the glow of the waveform displays. Presiding over this nocturnal congregation is OZONE, the mother superior of a new order, an abbess of the abyss. 🙏 Her vestments are of black leather, her wimple a modern hood, and her gaze holds the unwavering intensity of true devotion. This is the Techno Confessional, and she is here to absolve you of your sins through sound.

Her altar is a bank of mixers and decks, her holy book a library of relentless beats. With the practiced hands of a high priestess performing a sacred rite, she summons spirits from the machine. This is not a party; it is a communion. It is a ceremony for those who have lost their faith in the daylight world and come seeking solace in the unifying pulse of the night. The dancefloor is her nave, where her flock finds redemption not on their knees, but on their feet, moving as one to her driving gospel. ⛪

The music is the liturgy of this dark faith. It's a powerful, industrial-tinged techno that speaks of struggle, of penance, and ultimately, of catharsis. The kick drum is the hammer on the cathedral door, the synth lines are the whispers in the confessional box, and the crushing bass is the weight of the world lifting from your shoulders. 😈 This is a place to confess your deepest truths, not with words, but with movement. A place to let the rhythm cleanse you, to be baptized in sweat and sound.

OZONE is your confessor. She sees your struggles, she feels your desire for release, and she offers it to you in the form of a perfect, unending beat. Surrender your burdens to her. Trust in her selections. In this temple of techno, all are welcome, and all can be saved. Let the devotion wash over you. The service has begun. 🎶
