Burr Oak is the collaborative Drum & Bass project of French producers The Clamps and Opsen (formerly of Signs), uniting their visions around a dark, cinematic strain of Neurofunk. With releases on imprints such as Trendkill, Eatbrain, Blackout and Cause4Concern, they craft high-impact music where ruthless sound design, rock energy and emotive songwriting collide.

Their debut album "Somewhere We Belong" on Eatbrain marked a turning point, an 18-track odyssey that firmly positioned Burr Oak at the forefront of modern neurofunk. The record unfolds as a narrative built around their outlaw alter egos Scruggs and Sonny Jim, blending worldbuilding, dystopian atmospheres and dancefloor pressure into a cohesive universe.

Through a series of EPs, including "Hawkeye" and "Zero Alpha", and their remixed LP "Somewhere It’s Reborn", Burr Oak has continued to expand this sonic lore, pushing their hybrid of industrial textures, emotional melodies and razor-sharp groove. Their catalogue extends further via collaborations and remixes for labels like Blackout and Evolution Chamber, notably the single "I Want You" with Magnetude and their acclaimed remix of Pythius' "Erase Me" on Blackout, which brought a particularly fresh and forward-thinking twist to the original, alongside numerous high-profile reworks for scene heavyweights.

Rooted in the intensity of 90s alternative music and driven by a "music for the struggled generations" ethos, Burr Oak treats each release as a self-contained chapter: a blend of narrative, sound design and impact that looks unapologetically toward the future of Drum & Bass.

Kasta musico y escritor de graffiti de origenen extremeño y afincado en  Madrid empezo su trayectoria alla por el 95 formando parte de grupos de hip hop como "raza lirika" y mas tarde colaborando con los "gravementegrave", siempre manteniendo una actitud combatiba rozando con estilos como el punk o el hardcore y siempre desde el underground..... En 1999 se hizo componente de una de las mas posses mas antiguas y miticas de La peninsula la "ZNP" Y colaboro con gente de la "OZM" en el disco "LA ESENCIA" producido por Souchi en el que la fusion de mc..s conocidos de la escena nacional (metro, trovadores,) con la de otros provinientes del underground ( Morodo, Wason, Snear, "al otro barrio") se reivindicaba un hip hop con mas sentimiento, algo mas real "HIP HOP POSITIVO"..... !! 
Actualmente trabaja con productores y mc`s provenientes del grupo madrileño "Arte de liar" como "Hamuda & Keko





Recientemente presento su nuevo trabajo “Con los mios”, un disco con gran variedad de beats tocando estilos como: rap, reggae y dubstep. Mantiene su actitud combativa invitando a la reflexión, defendiendo los valores y  creando unión dentro de la escena Hip Hop actual. Contiene multitud de colaboraciones como el propio título del disco indica, contando con numerosos artistas con los que ha colaborado a lo largo de su trayectoria musical, como pueden ser: Silk, Souchi, Phono, Barry, Arte de Liar, Kehisal, B-Man y un largo etc… y una sorpresa internacional como Lil Dap, componente del grupo de New York “Group Home”.
Como no podía ser menos casi la totalidad de la producción, mezcla y masterización corre a cargo del mc y productor madrileño Souchi manteniendo “La Esencia”, también encontraremos producciones de Silk, RMD y Supafhiserman. Con este trabajo esta dedicado a toda la gente que ama y siente el verdadero Hip Hop, esperamos que lo disfrutéis.
Ahora mismo esta trabajando con el sello madrileño "Mad 91" preparando su nuevo trabajo de estudio "Inconditional"
