‘See Me Rollin’ has @gnork setting off on a sonic adventure into the higher BPMs as ethereal tuned vocaloid stabs pave the way for a breakbeat-infected motif. It's a departure from his usual trippy, lower-tempo grooves while also standing out from chuggier counterparts on the album. Deep, whirring synths underlay the percussion giving the track an identifiably Gnork sound signature as high pass filters and flange affect the drumbeat for variety.

Picking the mysterious Hungarian producer's brain with a little Q&A, we shed some light on his creative process, studio setup, the tracks he listened to growing up, and what exactly a ‘Gnork’ is (link above).

Yet another debut artist EP on Sound Mirror. @Simon-Moncler, one half of frankfurt’s underground DJ team “SM/KM", makes his first move on vinyl with an amazing EP containing four tracks from dirty crunchy electro bleeps (A1: Makin’ Moves premiered here) to deep dusty detroitish techno (A2: Distant Call) to noisy rhythmic ambient soundscapes (B1: Pornshop Smalltalk) to banging cut-up deep house (B2: Track 3). 300 handstamped white labels have been made with randomly changing and mixed stamp colours. Don’t sleep on this one!

[DSD013] Dansu For Mental Health Foundation

London-based producer Kanyalang! hits Truth Radio for the third time with the EP ”Sometimes I Feel Weird” containing four magic breakbeat tracks that will make you feel <3 The premiered track “The Last Dance” truly reflects the long-awaited early dancing hours in the dark.

The EP was written throughout lockdown, with the title reflecting the strange sensations and feelings he experienced trying to make sense of the whole thing.

Sonically, he usually tries to create a contrast between harsher more visceral drums, with warmer pads so it fluctuates between euphoria and intensity on the dance floor.

The release comes in fine continuation of Truth Radio's other releases, which over the past many years have focused on experimental club music
