HAPPY NEW YEAR MIX

The "Bass of Asîa" selection is inspired by my latest productions VELAVAN and UFOS OVER BENGALURU using Chinese instruments such aus Pipa, Guzheng and Erhu. A couple of month later I recognized a bunch of similar sounding productions and I started to dig deeper for Electronic Asian Bass Music and created this collection of beautiful music. I am listening to these tunes for a couple of month now and still cant get enough of it... So smooth, wide and deep! And how many stories does they tell? Bass Of Asîa - Selected And Blended By [dunkelbunt]

I haven't done a serious mix in a while and somehow it ended up being a blend of melancholy blues, swing and heaps of tropical courtesy of some of my favourite producers at the moment. 

The last time I did a mix I was still using vinyl so I wanted to experiment with sorting one out entirely digitally. It's not as easy as it should be...mostly just difficult keeping the quality up after having had to rerecord MP3s at altered tempos for the mixes. If any of the artists featured in the mix feel like sending me full wavs or aifs of their tunes then I'd be delighted to slot them back in at higher quality. Here's the tracklist.
