Her journey with electronic music started ten years ago, chasing the eternal high and best parties in the world as a regular dancer in cities like London and Berlin. Carmen eventually made the transition from the dancefloor to the decks as her passion for music grew, set to immerse herself further into the electronic music scene by playing vinyl, honing her skills as a DJ and developing a unique style that combines elements of techno, trance, and rave music.

Her sets are known for their dynamic energy and precision, as well as her ability to transport dancers to a higher state of existence. And that is exactly what you can expect from her vinyl-only creation for the coming hour. Listen to the sound of Carmen Electro here, enjoy!

Constructing complex sonic cathedrals from a mind- and toolset born of both the UK as the EU, the artist going by the name of Decka, presents quite a unique panoply of sounds to his willing listeners. His music reflects a fascinating blend of bone-stripping Techno and blissfully blinding Bass, forging a musical mélange looking both to the big room Industrial sound of the German capital, where he nowadays resides as well as the sub-low pressure rooted in his hometown of Bristol.

Vault Sessions #129 - Ø [Phase]

Onleash is the latest project from the Oslo-based artist Erik Spanne. His unique blend of hardcore techno laced with trap-phone chirps, pummelling kick drums and ultrasharp melodies has already become a secret weapon for some of the leading DJs and tastemakers like; VTSS, Anetha, SPFDJ, Shlomo, Juliana Huxtable and many more.

Together with the Norwegian artist FAKETHIAS he started MASSIVE GAIN a multidisciplinary project appearing in various forms, both as a record label and as the duo’s singular musical output. MASSIVE GAIN embodies techno as a vessel for experimentation, fusing its memetics with an insurgent perspective of club music.
Onleash is set to play at the next ISMUS XL party Alte Munze in March, while is also preparing a compilation release on MASSIVE GAIN featuring work from DJ Valentimes, FAKETHIAS, Truthspeaker, himself and more.

Jessie Granqvist joins for DifferentSound Podcast #180.

Jessie Granqvist [Hypnotic Woods/Under bron] Since her debute as a DJ in 2011 she has been resident in several undergroundclubs which formed her as an artist and person. With roots grounded in raves and open airs, she has gained notoriety for her style of trippy and meditative sounds merged together into a very danceable mix. With both technicality and an eclectic selection of records, she has the talent to truly build and build a long lasting vibe on every floor that she appears on. Since her start Jessie has been seen in almost every dj-booth in stockholm (where she is based) as well as clubs in Berlin, Amsterdam, Beijing etc.  2018 she played her first liveset at Uppsala artmuseum in a collab with artist Timothy Wilson. Jessie is one of the founders of collective Hypnotic Woods. They host events regularly at venues in Stockholm both over and underground.

Today, Developer continues to push the boundaries of techno through his labels, Modularz and Olympian with both platforms showcasing both established and rising talents from across the world.

We are super excited to present the 142nd episode from @aumrecordings co-founder TENO!

TENO is a DJ and producer currently based in Osaka, who has been making a strong impact on the techno scene in recent years through both his DJ sets and productions. His activities now extend not only throughout Japan but also across Europe, China, and other parts of Asia.

On the international podcast circuit, he was featured as the first artist in the new FOWRE series on Eerste Communie, curated by Marrøn, one of the world’s leading DJs based in the Netherlands. He has also contributed mixes to labels such as Polygonia’s IO Records, Nebuleus, Reverse, Tensione Collective, and CONCEPTUAL VIOLENCE.

As a producer, TENO continues to release music on labels around the globe. Through his own techno label Aum Recordings, he released an EP featuring a remix by Munich-based artist Polygonia. Additionally, he collaborated with world-renowned DJ Wata Igarashi, who contributed a remix for TENO’s first vinyl EP, DONT CRY OVER SPILLED MILK.

In February 2025, TENO launched a second label, Monos, with the aim of expressing his unique artistic identity. The label has already released the Violet EP and Primrose EP, with the Yuugao EP set to follow soon.

Resident of @resurrection_berlin, @figments - K-H1 is a music project by Berlin-based Sergey Barinov in collaboration with Luke Mombrea. K-H1’s vision is to be boundary-pushing: weaving together pulsating rhythms and striking, tripped-out soundscapes to create a tight, yet distinct techno sound.

His sets mirror his bold production style. Oscillating between dark, vibrant, and cinematic themes underlined by heavy, driving grooves, he invites listeners to embark on a hypnotic journey together.

K-H1’s releases have garnered recognition and support from influential figures, and have graced venues such as Berghain, RSO, Bassiani, and Smolna38. Quickly establishing a unique presence on the techno scene, K-H1 is one to watch.
