Following up on a great release on Playground Rec, @PlayPalMusic welcomes Argentinian artist, @Nahuel-Galaxx, who delivers a throbbing and menacing dark disco stomper, relying on macabre guitars, pulsating monosynth basslines and  an unsettling array of tension.

Supporting the 3 original tracks are  remixes from French duo Motel 77, Argentinian producer Balam and label head himself @TenienteCastillo.

The latter turning the original track 'Guerra' into a frenetic, ramped up urgent and bloodthirsty version, which transforms a subtle menace into a full on frenzied assault.

Mexico’s Duro label are set to release the first EP from local talent Undefined Pattern, backed with remixes from Damon Jee and Jenia Tarsol.

‘El Desespere’ comes after Undefined Pattern’s debut on the Disque Discos 'DISCORROR IX' compilation and is inspired by the stress and paranoia of living in Mexico. It features three intensely atmospheric tracks with remixes by Damon Jee and Jenia Tarsol.

The fantastic title track gets things under way on a rugged bassline and illuminating synths that speak of a busy urban metropolis. It’s a rumbling disco ride that really takes you somewhere. The dark and heavy disco vibes continue on ‘Estrex Humano’, with its crisp hits and urgent bassline. Edgy synth loops bring the tension and add plenty of drama before ‘Intenxa Salida’ offers a sparser and eerier track, with dystopian, searching synths and melodic details off in the distance that suggest human life amongst a late night urban landscape.

Frenchman, MORE associate and 90s veteran Damon Jee flips ‘Estrex Humano’ into a slow burning and steamy disco stomper with libidinous female vocals, courtesy of Ravintsara and broad synth sweeps. Lastly, ‘El Desespere’ as remixed by Blue Shadow Records boss Jenia Tarsol is a chugger with big rock licks and a filthy bassline.

This is a compelling EP from the fast rising Undefined Pattern and another great package from contemporary disco tastemakers Duro.

Roliva & Fausto, both producers coming from Culiacán (the infamous "El Chapo" hometown in the north of Mexico) team up for a wild and vicious theme inspired by artificial human extensions.

"'Prótesis' refers to all these new technologies and mobile devices that have become an extension of our person, sometimes even part of our body, just like a prosthesis, and his absence feels strange, that strange feeling when you've lost your phone or valuable information" mentions the duo.

Russian brothers Simple Symmetry deliver a stripped down club version, where every element needed to make the dancefloor explode is kept and maximized.

@CaliBurton is an experienced musician from Argentina, releases his solo material through the Mexican label @vnnmx . "Vortice" is a mix of electronic music and the influences of the alternative projects (Chalalora, Serebrios and Ruda) of Cali, in which you can listen to music made for the dance floor with overtones of Rock, Funk and of course his voice so particular.

The original tracks are accompanied for remixes made by Tivi, Umvral and Guillermo Castillo, which do the same by capturing their style on each track.

Correspondant return with another cosmic tonic to combat these strange and turbulent times. Four slices of smouldering, sexy, groove-toned deep disco, perfect for any lockdown or socially distanced scenario you can possibly imagine, they come courtesy of Tel Aviv's Niv Ast who's been making a name for himself in all the right places; Nein, Duro, Ombra, Relish and of course this very label with two big cameos last year remixing Fort Romeau and appearing on the 'Nume'ro 2' collection. This is his debut EP for Correspondent and arguably his biggest EP to date; 'I Remember' sets the hazy, introspective mood with purring spoken word and salubrious instrumentation before 'Ninja's Mothership' goes all-out psychedelic with sweeping guitar blasts and a slinky, writhing groove. Deeper again we hit pure uncut funk in the form of 'Hyperball Superball' before 'Poisson d'Argent' brings home the silver... A hook-up with good friend Cornelius Doctor, and easily the heaviest piece of the release, it's a chugging cosmic finale laced with layers of textures and sounds to completely lose yourself within. Strange, turbulent, smouldering, sexy; this is the perfect music to stay safe to... Correspondence is key right now. Let us know how you feel.
