Head of the newly minted, queer identifying VRAAA label and a celebrated protagonist on Berlin’s most sexually liberated dancefloor, Pornceptual, Projekt Gestalten is the identity of Brazilian techno producer and DJ, Diego Garcia. 
Exploring pornography as an artform with the Pornceptual collective for more than five years now, their ringside promotion of events and parties globally has seen Garcia’s divergent agenda encourage and inspire its guests to freely explore their sexuality. 
It took to a point where a recent Boiler Room in partnership with the collective was deemed too explicit for YouTube before finding vindication on PornHub.

Adorning their DJ sets in various forms of white wedding dresses and baroque embroidery, Projekt Gestalten’s sexual-kinks, queer desire and bold feminine spirit flaunts a unrivaled promiscuity of tongue-in-cheek tawdry that’s pushing techno music and its artistic, sexual appetites that much further. 
A figurehead within Berlin’s queer techno scene, and diamond in the rough of ‘twenty-tens’ Netlabel culture, Projekt Gestalten’s exploratory conquest of melodic, harmonic and hypnotic sounds is starting to spread around.

Stephen Mahoney

A long time record collector, Stephen has been involved in various collectives over the years including Analog where they had guests over such as Volster and Insolate and Woo York.

Stephen has been releasing music with releases on labels including Concidence Records and his own label Shelter Records while also part of Flexure with Jamie Behan which seen them play at Tresor's New Faces night.

Now running a new imprint, Delinquent Delivery since 2018, a label which has brought six releases so far, a looking glass into Dublins Techno scene. Artists included are Snakebite_616, Jon Hussey, Stuey Lyons, Rustal, Jack Jennings, James Cherry, Stephen Mahoney, which saw a sold out release for Saol Forsa and made the Decks.de top ten. 2021- 2022 saw Stephen debut on Children of Tomorrow, two Eps within quick succession, while 2023 starts with an album on a Diffuse Reality and another Ep for Children of Tomorrow.

Stephen’s productions have been continuing to garner respect and support from the scenes biggest luminaries and his productions are gaining an International audience. Djing, Stephen’s style is quick, three deck mixing which incorporates many late night styles and has a single goal or vision, unite the dancefloor and set it alight.

Adam X stopped by for a lengthy chat about all things music. In the early days, he ran the infamous Sonic Groove record shop in NY while moonlighting as a DJ on the International circuit. When record sales dropped off due to a combination of the devastating act of 9/11 and the advent of the digital DJing era, Adam closed up shop and took off to Berlin where he would find a new era of musical inspiration and success.

Once he arrived in Berlin, he started a series of parties called "Crossing the Parallel" which received notoriety for combining the worlds of EBM, industrial, techno and electro together. On the production side, he was behind the initially-anonymous Transversable Wormhole project, which led to a re-release on CLR with a massive remix project that followed.

Fast forward to today, he has been making the rounds in Europe and the United States as a DJ on a weekly basis. He just finished an album for L.I.E.S. and continues to run the Sonic Groove record label. In his spare time, he regularly photographs and documents Berlin's graffiti scene.
