33 track all vinyl mix of mostly Early Terror to Speedcore and Early Hardcore of a dark nature, including some of the old 90's favourites alongside some lesser played tunes. eg. "you did the whispering to yourself... " and a handful or so from post 2000 (no later than '05). It's fair to say there's a gothic atmosphere at many points, provided by one record in particular that all the trainspotters will already know from the image used and a brief crossover into Black Metal territory for the finale.

If it weren’t for Drop Bass Network, I wouldn’t be a DJ.  I actually wouldn’t even be a raver since they threw the first rave I went to in 1994, Minneapolis. Back then, Drop Bass parties were all hardcore, gabber, acid, and slammin’ hard acid.  Techno was starting to get popular, and jungle had not yet taken hold in the Midwest. 

At that first rave, the Drop Bass founders showed me the DJ booth and a few short months later, I had my own decks and records-- DBN dominated my record crate.  

Drop Bass Network was the first rave company to officially book me for a main stage and put me on a flier, which was the first Even Furthur, and when I made my comeback in 2018, they were the first to book me again, this time for Hardcore Breakfast at the New Year’s Day 2019 party in Minneapolis.  

I owe Drop Bass a lot—my whole life, quite possibly…

Just Acid- DBN (1993-1995)

32 track all vinyl mix of Acidcore/Hard Acid predominantly released during the late 90's with a smattering of more recent'ish tracks up to 2022. Obviously will include a large batch synthesized in Danish labs with some well known "dealers" handling the UK distribution amongst a network of a few other Countries producing high-grade doses. Some classics and a few lesser known records (maybe), starting slow(er) and building up... just like a trip you might say :D

Core25 - Acid Insurgency Mix

Mixes are all vinyl only. Setup is a pair of turntables and basic no frills mixer... archaic certainly but I like to keep things simple.

Been into Hardcore Techno/Gabber since '97 after getting a DJ Producer Dreamscape 23 tape and Bass Generator Hardcore Heaven Ravers Choice. Same year found a Thunderdome 1 -5 Megamix CD and discovered the Mokum series which is where my love for harder music began.

A few years later after listening to all the usual suspects found on any Technodrome lineup and events like Deathrow Techno, North etc, I started buying the tunes. Always favoured the acid laced Clarkee sets and Trance infused Dolphin ones but love all of them including "the Mu... the Mu... the Music Maker" for more 'outthere' Industrial/Speedcore stuff. Still have the same passion and level of enjoyment digging for tunes especially unsolved ID's and forgotten/hidden gems.

Subsequent years leaning towards Hard Acid & Acidcore for the more insanity inducing extreme 303's and generally darker atmosphere from the likes of Lasse Steen, Somatic Responses, Zekt, Agro, Drop Bass Network, Direct Drive, Labworks and the swamp-like-grungy acid on Cologne's DJ.Ungle Fever.
A soft spot for Mark EG, M-Zone & Vortex Hard Trance. Also the UK mish-mash Acid Trance/Hard-Nrg/Hard House sound... VCF, Choci's Chewns, Bosca Beats, Public House, Eve/Telica etc, Acid Techno - tend to stick to the 90's stuff I grew up with and Classic Trancecore - so a bit of everything really.

Much greater appreciation now for Techno/Trance & Acid spun by the likes of Aggressor, Warlock, Aztek, Colin Faver, Colin Dale, Mach 1, Trevor Rockcliffe, Daz Saund and Ribbz of course. I enjoy listening to these sets a lot more now that I'm older than I did the first time around and it opens up a whole new world of tunes to hunt down.

GabberGirl began her DJ career in the mid-90's, out of Minneapolis.  She has always focused on gabber & hardcore, but enjoys mixing it up with an occasional track of a different genre, especially hip hop, dubstep, drum & bass, & hard techno.

She stumbled upon her first rave in 1994, put on by DJ ESP Woody McBride (Communique Records), DJ Jedidiah, & JethroX (Kurt Eckes) of Drop Bass Network.  The promoters showed her the magic happening in the DJ booth, and she declared at that moment she would be a DJ. 

GabberGirl played raves, clubs, radio shows, festivals, and even malls all around the Midwest and Canada from 1995 to 1997.  She also promoted parties as Warrior Princess Productions, including Heavy Mental in March 1997, with DJ Tron & Doormouse headlining.

She was honored to play in the main tent at the legendary Even Furthur '96 festival, a few hours before Daft Punk's US debut.

In 1997, after playing a Trust campout in the Sierra Nevada mountains, she decided to "bring the hardcore" to northern California & moved to the San Francisco bay area.

Late 1997, after finding her hardcore crew, GabberGirl & her partner DJ Squircle (previously known as Dr. Nog) began and ran Technostate internet radio station out of an artist loft warehouse in San Fran, and continued throwing parties as Warrior Productions. 

Summer of 1998, GabberGirl & the Technostate hardcore DJs hit the road for a 2-month coast to coast cross country tour.

In 1999, XLR8R Magazine published an article about GabberGirl, introducing her as the hardcore record reviewer of their new hardcore column, which only lasted a few months.

Technostate resident DJ Forest Green was featured on the film Groove, & Technostate hosted the movie premier in 2000, with GabberGirl DJing and broadcasting in the theater lobby.

In her early years, GabberGirl played parties with many other notable DJs, including Henry Vengeance, Bobby Tense (FUHD), Dan Efex, Ron D Core, Demigod, Bombardier, Fishead, DJ Tron, R-Type, The Tyrant (FUHD), William Rabies, and Doormouse.  In recent years, she has played events alongside The Demix, Flynx, Brenda, & Neil Landstrumm.

In 2002, GabberGirl took a long break to raise her son.  In 2018, after moving back to the Midwest as an empty nester, GabberGirl began DJing again. 

Lately, GabberGirl has been contributing monthly to New York City based internet radio station, Respect The Dance Floor Rave Radio. She has also been featured several times on Doomcore Records Pod Cast out of Hamburg, Germany.
