And we're back over the Atlantic for our next Exclusive Mix episode, featuring Canadian born DJ/producer Jason Hodges...

Hodges started taking on the Toronto's underground scene in the early 90ies, developing his DJing skills on the decks with the likes of New York - New Jersey sounds. His own music started coming out in the early 2000s, with various Toronto labels like Jinxx or 83 West and, in the following years, evolved in a high demanded remixer, working with DJ Sneak, Jully Black, Justin Timberlake, DJ Colette, DJ Heather, Derrick Carter, etc.

Jason kicked off 2022 with some great releases for Glasgow Underground, Refuge Recordings and Spacedisco...

Here's my set from our Happy 4th Of July livestream via Monad Social featuring Mark Farina, DJ Sneak, Destrada and yours truly. Opening for Mark and Sneak is always a chance to dive into the deeper side of things and explore facets of house both of these guys embody to the fullest. America is in a moment of real identity crisis and struggles abound everywhere you look but we didn't let that stop us from enjoying each other and letting the music speak to our deeper connection that no single moment in time can break. We had such a blast drinking, smoking, eating, laughing, and hanging out on this day. I hope you dig listening as much as I did making this! Cheers

Notable releases include Mood (KMS Records, 1989) and the Mushroom Jazz series (Om Records, 1996–2011), and recently known also from house compilations El Divinio. He is primarily identified with the house music scene in San Francisco, California. Farina resides in Dallas, Texas, but DJs widely around the world
