Two iconic Parallel 9 dub-techno classics from the Steve Rachmad archives re-issued on the Delsin Sterac series. Originally released in 1995 on Prime, now re-mastered in 2021 fashion.

Steve Rachmad’s richly melodic strain of techno has resulted in a huge body of work he has been growing since the early 90s. His sound is the perfect distillation of machine soul – dubby atmospherics and crisp, danceable dynamics balanced in perfect unison. Amsterdam’s Delsin Records gathers together some of the Dutch techno figurehead’s most important, sought-after works in a new EP series, all remastered from the original DAT tapes from Steve’s archives.

Adding to the weight of this series, the accompanying artwork is being created by Boris Tellegen, aka legendary graffiti artist Delta who first began designing sleeves with Secret Life Of Machines. Since then he created many works for labels including Delsin.

Vulkanski is a new project from Tbilisi concrete catacombs by the pioneer of the Georgian techno scene, producer, live performer and resident DJ at KHIDI.
Pungent, vibrant Techno and grinding Industrial sounds are the proper description of his music. Having released his debut album on BITE and 12"s on labels such as Murder Records, Khidi and Soil.
In recent years you could listen to him in clubs like Berghain | Panorama Bar | Säule, Griessmuehle, ://about blank, Ankali, Kablys, Rote Sonne, Khidi and etc.

During the summer of 2021, some regions experienced natural disasters. Countries such as Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands, Italy and many other, had to experience an abundance of rain which caused many human casualties as well as damage to material as well as to our precious nature . A great deal of aid has already been provided for most of the material damage, although it will never be sufficient given the consequences of the disaster. We would like to change human suffering, but unfortunately we will never be able to accomplish that… We would still like to offer our help where they are short of hands and financial help can benefit. The enormous damage that our nature has to endure has ensured that a huge amount of waste and debris have to be processed. It is very difficult to find an overarching organization and so we are going to spread all the financial support we receive among all the organizations, such as the Red Cross and the World Wide Fund, who are working hard to make things better. The 'Force Of Nature' brings our techno scene together to bring attention and awareness to all that has happened, hoping to be able to create hope for a brighter future.

A year after their debut on the label, Crossing Avenue return with five more sublime techno tracks on Spazio Disponibile. That first EP remains the only outing for the pair of Andrea La Bombarda and Andrea Montrone, and this new one is another experimental trip into mind melting grooves. 

Opener ‘Laguna’ is a loopy, liquid track of fluttering drums and rubbery kicks that never lets up. ‘Ortica’ is more gloopy and wonky, with firmer kicks and aqueous sounds dripping off the groove, while ‘Lyra’ is beautifully delicate and intricate, with underwater life forms drifting by as gentle xylophones sounds dance around. The masterful minimalism continues on the dark, undulating and alien ‘Vilipendio,’ and things round out with the paranoid voices and panning synths of ‘Mekong’, an unsettling track that has you looking over your shoulder.

Ben Klock introduces Greek-raised, Moscow-based artist Stef Mendesidis for the next Klockworks release. Mendesidis delivers 3 original tracks utilising solely analogue gear to produce soundscapes inspired by cinematic scenes. These sounds transport the listener through resonating grooves and classy chords that fit the signature Klockworks sound. Focusing mainly on his machines for the craft of his music, Mendesidis recorded all cuts in one take. To celebrate his EP release, he will join of the Klockworks showcase at Berghain on December 29th.

Warok Music's vinyl series started with dimensions doors EP, a heady, deep dive into techno's more psychedelic spaces. True to form, dimensions doors kicks off with the rolling kicks of Portal Opening, a trippy exploration of shifting ambiences and rhythmic noise, punctuated by a siren tone. AWB steps up with a broken beat remix of Portal Opening, layering Clotur's ambiences over low-slung percussion. Hyper space travel brings up the energy with galloping kicks and rippling resonant synths. BLNDR follows up with a pounding remix, building Clotur's sweeping textures into trippy loops circling over a monolothic kick. Irregular Frequencies pulls even further into the portal, with a relentless, rubbery synth squelching along over driving, percussion. Clotur lays a gentle, but uneasy atmosphere over this trippy tool. He brings us back down with Forbidden Level, another complex rhythmic track featuring glitchy percussions and robotic warping over a tough low-end workout.

DVS1 – Beta Sensory Motor Rhythm (Digital Album)

From the perceiving body to the liminal space of the dream-state, audible frequencies send a neurofeedback message. A paradigm-shift is activated in the mind. A movement from the present hour toward the realm beyond measure.

The pulse of a synthesized kick. The distance between evolving rhythms of time & place left behind. Sensations created in forgotten corners of the consciousness are distant, yet familiar. A low-penetrating drum beat pulsates. Hypnotic hallucinations reveal detailed layers, oscillating from the back to the forefront of the dream. Synth programming yields abstract ideas into concrete images. Lucid percussion arranged to paint a deeper shade of architecture in this future-memory-system.

Be aware that sensations resonate into imagination without warning. The observer extends from rational thought to a deeper state of understanding. The mind-body experience gives way to a transient response from a shock wave to the steady state. The senses reach entrainment.

The body and mind eventually sync.

DVS1:

Best known as one of techno’s most prominent voices, DVS1 has dedicated his lifework to sound as an immersive experience: whether it be through his Wall of Sound installations or a night behind the decks, DVS1 is committed to protecting the values and ethos of the dance music ecosystem through his work and words.  Born in St. Petersburg, Russia and raised in Minneapolis, DVS1 cultivated his unique craft over 25 years ago, promoting & DJing parties in the Midwest rave scene of the 1990s.  A true “beat & rhythm addict” on both techno and house floors around the globe, Khutoretsky’s DJ style is a mixture of technical prowess and thoughtful selection. He is an active resident at both Berghain/Panorama Bar & Bassiani and Label-owner of HUSH & sub-label Mistress Recordings. He partnered and founded Berlin’s 4D Sound space MONOM and most recently started S.O.S. (Support Organize Sustain), an initiative to preserve the future of the dance community in collaboration with other innovative thinkers in the electronic music scene.
