Jesko, also known as Bo Samuel, is a DJ and producer from Sweden and the co-founder of
the Lisbon-based label Wäxxel. Now based in Lisbon, he's become part of the city’s dynamic
nightlife, bringing a refined, minimal sound that reflects a broad and diverse taste in music.
His sets are rooted in minimalism, but he doesn’t limit himself. He’s always exploring
different genres and moods, mixing in both melancholic and uplifting elements to create a
deeper connection with the crowd. It’s not just about keeping people dancing, it’s about
building a journey that feels honest and personal.

Whether he’s behind the decks, producing music, or shaping the sound of Wäxxel, Bo
Samuel keeps things simple, thoughtful, and focused on what really matters: good music

ALLPA PURUMA, nació el 6 de abril de 1995 en el conurbano de Buenos Aires.
Es músico, productor y compositor. Su primer acercamiento a la música electronica fue a los 11 años de edad, descubriendo artistas como Chemical Brother, Oliver Huntemann, Cirez D entre otros. Con el correr del tiempo amplió su espectro musical siendo influenciado por bandas como Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin,The doors, Black sabbath, Pink floyd. Encontrando la inspiración en la música psicodélica y motivado por sus amigos, adquirió su primer instrumento musical, el cual le permitiría comenzar una etapa de experimentación de sonidos que aun lleva a cabo. Sin prejuicios y con la necesidad constante de conectarse con la música, emprende un viaje, donde consolida sus beats tocando percusión y otros instrumentos como djembe, didgeridoo, zicus, charango. En su regreso a Argentina vuelve a relacionarse con la música electronica poniendo su foco de atención en el Techno, genero que lo incentivo a tomar clases de producción musical y sin dejar de lado sus instrumentos nativos incorpora las cajas de ritmos y los sintetizadores.

With releases on respected imprints including Skryptöm, PRX Records, PRTL WRX, DifferentSounds, and Inphase, Kamen continues to shape his distinctive sonic universe. His recent standout performance at FOLD for the 100th UNFOLD event confirmed his rising profile.

First issued on ROOM's Pangea compilation - a project designed to showcase Argentina's techno community - John Barsik's 'Tropics' remains a standout track. Working at a steady 130 BPM, Barsik builds the piece from a dry kick and understated hi-hats, then threads in rounded bass pulses and humid, bell-like synth tones. The arrangement grows patiently, adding percussive flickers and subtle reverb swells that hint at open-air nights as much as basement clubs.

The production is lean but assured: low frequencies stay firm while midrange textures breathe, giving the track both punch and space. There's no gimmickry; instead, Barsik relies on pacing and clarity to keep listeners engaged, dropping elements out for a short breakdown before the full rhythm locks back in. 'Tropics' isn't designed to shock but to sustain, offering DJs and home listeners alike a slice of Argentine techno that values craft, atmosphere, and a quietly propulsive groove.
