Sorry - this bio is very, very old and outdated. I'll try to write something clever soon to replace it with.

Founder and artistic director of Ishah 'El theatre arts collaborative, a non profit cultural performing arts/ theatre company focused on development, education, support and promotion of traditional arts of other cultures and developing new original works for public performance in our community. Our vision is to develop new & original works of theatre with an emphasis on spiritual & social themes and to share entertaining & uplifting stories of other cultures through live drama, music, dance, art & prophetic improvisation.

I'm also a DJ with WMUA 91.1 FM at UMASS Amherst (www.wmua.org), and I host the Grooved Pavement world music show on Wednesdays from noon to 2:30 PM EST. Tune in and check it out sometime, either on your radio or you can stream it live through iTunes. Go to iTunes, click on "Radio" and search for WMUA in the "College / University" and "Eclectic" sections. 

Unfortunately, I seem to have hit the limit of artists I'm allowed to follow, so I won't be able to follow you back. I'd still love to know what you are doing, so please feel free to post info as necessary or contact me.

In July of 2015 I began writing/recording/releasing a song per week to the online community. Every Wednesday I will add a brand new song with monthly themes (some, admittedly, looser than others).
