Wa Wu We is the artist alias and vinyl only label from Sebastian Mullaert. This is the fourth chapter, crafted in the Swedish woods. The first 6 episodes of the Wa Wu We label will form a collection of records, united by their significant and unique cover art and the way they’ve been recorded; this being the focus on improvising expression, resting in meditation and the nature surrounding Sebastian’s studio. All 6 of these episodes will be released as vinyl only and will be limited to 500 copies each. 

Wa... the Wu are We? Let the question appear, and dissolve in the dance! Wa Wu We is back with the third vinyl release, and like before its vinyl only. Deep jams nurtured by the Swedish woods, the home of Sebastian Mullaert. The beautiful four colour sleeve is designed by Markus Clemmedson (Boelja) and include Sebastian’s poetry. ///

Wa Wu We 005 - A1

Kalahari is the first EP from producer Sindh, who, like many of the artists on Valentino Mora’s IDO, expresses a wistful fondness for nature in its myriad forms. The project Sindh was named as such after the musician had an affecting encounter with the magnificent Indus River in Ladakh, the lush vegetation and landscapes in this region clearly inspiring Sindh’s sound. Sindh’s regard for the natural world as well as science fiction is reflected in the instruments employed in Kalahari ranging from flute, bongo, percussions and modular and Ciat Lonbarde synthesisers. 
 
Over the four tracks, Sindh leads us through four distinct landscapes, the narrative unfolding track by track. In Saptura, ethereal atmospheres guide us through a ruin-strewn terrain where vegetation has virtually obscured all traces of human life. The resoundingly tranquil mood maintaining faith in the arch of the universe. Sidam opens with a more mysterious tone, inviting curiosity into the next environment as a gentle rhythm guides, allowing space for strange, other-worldly surprises. As winds whisper and synthetic rain responds, the pared back percussions that prevail in Nun-kun introduce a human touch. The warm grooves and atmospheres hint at a more temperate (future?) climate than the tracks namesake currently suggests. Arriving at the closing track of the EP, Kalahari delivers deep grooves and spirited high-hats that will ignite the weariest of travellers. The bizarrely brilliant inflections will remain in your ears long after the track is finished. 

A stunning sixth release for IDO, Kalahari demonstrates the evolution of the label’s sound, offering the opportunity to include traces of minimal and glitch sound palettes whilst maintaining IDO’s luscious, spiritual qualities.

Honored once again to be able to host another fantastic release from @kvlto-records this time with a percussive roller from @red_noisedj. Full of chunky and gritty sounds that evolve into a thunderous dose of driving hypnotic techno. 

When the sounds are matched and the ideas reach a single point of appearance, they make us feel each resonance and texture, creating an advanced guideline point in the mind of each human being in order to understand that sonority is the appearance of consciousness within the human sound for the release KV033 created by @tsott [Tbilisi, Georgia] called Intermission.
Within this new reference our dear Artists and Friends @aqui_ver [Italy], @revenantoff [Mexico] and @red_noisedj[Colombia] show us that creating a remix is also intervening in each point of sound that is created in this atmosphere.

Shjva returns to the label less than a year after her brilliant Northern Lights EP saw the light of day.

A much revered producer across the scene,  Shjva consistently brings her deep and groovy style to a multitude of projects. Our ears first pricked up when we were recommended one of her self-released projects on Bandcamp. By the time her debut physical release dropped on Brutż in the winter of 2022, we were quick to join a line of labels hoping to push Shjva's talents.

Moving between Poland and Ukraine, Shjva's rise has occurred against the backdrop of the ongoing illegal invasion of her homeland. Nevertheless, she remains a shining example of the vibrant arts that can emerge from a free Ukraine. Her new track, "Blizzard," is no exception and we couldn't be more honoured to be trusted to share yet another example of Shjva's signature deep, pulsing sound 💙💛

My first solo album "A Place Called • Inkonst" is available via Kontra-Musik, on double vinyl and digital, from November 4, 2019.

The vision for this album was bring my live gear and place it and myself in an audience perspective at different locations / rooms, and let improvisation take place. I believe we are always travelling through different rooms (dimensions) such as physical, mental or emotional.

How do these rooms affect each other in the creative expression, how do the rooms affect the expression and how does the expression affect the rooms?

I took my gear to the left-field music and art hub Inkonst in Malmö and spent six weeks exploring, jamming, improvising and feeling. This album is the result.
