Pregnant Void is a division of Italian label Out-ER (Out Electronic Recordings).

The label started investigating in the relation between sounds and emotions, how frequencies and sounds interact with living beings, collecting experts’ opinions, researches and experiments.

Pregnant Void represents a mysterious, natural space of our Globe. The word is used into the astrophysical area of interest to indicate an invisible world to our eyes but full of vibrations. Those same specific vibrations which contributed to create the Universe and, later on, the Planets surrounding the globe.

Transistora is a digital magazine about electronic music. It contains news, interviews, reviews of new records and a list of upcoming releases.

Every reviewed record here is selected with love and considered a piece of art. We try to show, with words, the materia inside of them and the sensations they cause. It’s also a way to introduce great releases to those who don’t know them. And to do so, most of the times we use literary metaphors. Instead of describing music in a technical way, we want to understand it in a graphic and emotional atmosphere. As listeners, this is a catalog of positive impressions that music leaves to us. As readers, you can consider it as a list of experiences to share.

Transistora also includes interesting news related to electronic music scene. We want to share our enthusiasm with others, just like when a good friend recommends you something he knows you’ll like it.

The project started in 2009 as a common interest, consolidating how important music is for us. Transistora is managed by Gonzalo Cervelló (graphic designer) and Emilio Ferrer (copywriter and blogger). We also collaborate with other publications and companies as content creators and digital communication managers.

Transistora es un magazine digital sobre música electrónica. Recoge noticias, entrevistas, reseñas de nuevos discos y un directorio técnico de próximos lanzamientos.

Todos los discos que comentamos aquí son escogidos con afecto y tratados como obras de arte. Buscamos ilustrar con palabras la materia que contienen, verbalizar las sensaciones que causan y acercarlos a quien todavía no los conoce. Muchas veces usamos metáforas literarias porque, antes que describir la música técnicamente, queremos interpretarla de un modo gráfico y emocional. Como oyentes, este es un catálogo de impresiones positivas que deja la música, y como lectores, sugerencias de experiencias para compartir.

Esto incluye también las noticias sobre la escena electrónica que encontramos interesantes. Queremos transmitir nuestro entusiasmo a los demás, como en esas ocasiones cuando alguien que te conoce bien te recomienda algo que sabe que te va a gustar.

El proyecto se remonta a 2009. Empezó como una apuesta común al poco de conocernos, consolidando el fuerte vínculo que supone para nosotros la música. Transistora somos Gonzalo Cervelló  (diseñador gráfico) y Emilio Ferrer (redactor creativo). En paralelo a nuestras profesiones, colaboramos con otras publicaciones y empresas, como creadores de contenido y gestores de comunicación digital.
