With his intelligent trippy driving techno sound he delivers yet another 5 track EP called "Pure Coincidence EP" including a hypnotising Neel remix.

All in all another banger from this Milanese wonderboy.

Soma welcome another name to its ever-growing roster in the form of Portuguese producer Lewis Fautzi who teams up with his own alias, Nuklear Default, to bring home 4 dark techno stompers. A main stay on the Portuguese techno scene, Lewis has been producing for some time now and his own brand of pulsing rhythms has earned him many fans throughout the techno community.

Title track ‘Turn’ launches this ep skywards with a ripping bass line that will tear speakers apart. Unrelenting drums whisk through you with peak time intensity as this powerful opener sears with non-stop energy.

Things take a deeper turn with ‘Anti-Cake’ as a slightly more subdued beat slowly filters in with hypnotic drums patterns and synths swirling calmly before bursting the track wide open. Only a short break in the track allows the listener a little respite as the deep sub bass bounces back in and the track continues to move at quite a pace.

‘Sinister’ is exactly what the name suggests. A dark, pulsing low end creeps around the base of this track while more rattling percussion keeps the momentum going. This is the perfect DJ tool that keeps its energy throughout.
  
‘Point’ closes the EP with an old school sound. Delayed synths filter in an out atop a rolling bass line and perfectly programmed drums. The synth hook tweeks over into the break giving way to an effective dance floor track.

This is a fantastic Soma debut from a young producer who surely has a bright future ahead of him

Release number 6 from our label brings us Oscar Mulero’s latest work, proof that the new sounds he’s experimenting with do not constitute at all a departure from his command of the rawest side of the purest techno. Horses, Oscar Mulero’s new EP, takes us back to the Mulero that the majority of the public will recognise; to the overwhelming sound that has led him straight to the top over the past two decades. 

The record opens with "Like a Wolf": broken drum beats, sharp hats, FM basses and dynamic white noise drones whose energy never falters throughout the 5' 40".

“Horses”, the second track, gives the record its name and offers intricate rhythm programming, dark atmospheres and acid sounds that, as a whole, create a mental and hypnotic feeling.

The closing track is "In a Silent Way", which runs along similar lines to the previous two, but with less BPMs and with an obsessive sequence that mutates and develops throughout the track leaving the listener with a Mills aftertaste, but with a Berliner touch.

Three modern techno tracks that will please to fans of the purest techno.

Dusty Kid is one of most renowned Italian electronic music artists. His profile remains in the underground side of the industry but his musical skills are great and eclectic. 'Istmo' is leaded by a catchy melody surrounded by a powerful bassline and deep elements. 'Sysma' is such a real techno track, a few but well chosen elements and some original and surprising breaks… Closing the release we find 'Feelers', a track with a raw beat, big bassline and lead synth, enough to do serious damage to any techno dancefloor.

Adding to previous 12“es on Ostgut Ton and his own RK label fellow Neuköllner and Berghain resident Kobosil offers four new uncompromising Techno club tools.

While all cuts on the 105 release share filthy, stone-cold, elemental rhythms – pounding, energetic and hypnotic 4/4 kick drum slaps – the devil is, like with all Kobosil productions, in the aesthetic details. “40000 L” uses gargling synth patterns and howling horns to dramatic effect; “Bei Nacht H (178)” contrasts the kick with a harsh, tinny drumbeat and menacing melody pad, creating a nightmarish vibe.
“Backmask N” on B1 offers heavily alienated vocal samples alongside rave-reminiscing synth stabs and staggered hi-hat percussion. “Derange” closes this four-tracker with grainy drone echoes and throbbing, sizzling synth pulses.

Adding to Kobosil’s full-floor-focussed sonic repertoire 105 shows him from his darkest and most vigorous side yet – this 12“ is a brute, in the most positive sense.
