And a proper celebration is what it will have in the form of five various artist EP’s: Infinite Oscillation, Liquid Solids, Quantum Realm, Equilibrium and Eye of Agamotto, each representing one of the five elements of nature.

This first of five releases kicks things into high gear right away. All four tracks combine fast paced rhythms with a certain funkiness and with your eyes closed, it’s hard not to think of the late 90’s and early 00’s. Don’t be surprised to hear these repetitive cuts pop up on primetime slots on a dancefloor near you these coming months.

Our first premiere of the day sees two generations of techno join forces to showcase a hypnotic masterclass as Jereon Search & Pushmann release on N&N Records. Hailing from the Netherlands and Spain respectively, the pair lean on shuffling drum grooves alongside a whirlpool of swirling sci-fi-orientated synth lines for a transfixing techno tool.

One of the leading lights in Spain’s contemporary techno scene Pushmann has put together a colossal various artist’s release with music coming from Alexander Kowalski, DJ Shufflemaster, Doug Cooney, Hertz Collision, Ken Ishii, Mike Storm, Ritzi Lee, The Advent & more on his label N&N Records. We premiere Jeroen Search & Pushmann’s collaboration.

Hailing from Spain Pusmann produces a Detroitesque sound with a clear and strong influence from the cities of Berlin and Birmingham. His sound is widespread but often finds itself in the realms of fast-paced, industrial, and mechanical high-octane techno. The Spaniard’s releases have seen massive support from Ben Sims, Truncate, Laurent Garnier, Mark Broom, Slam, Dj Hyperactive, Kevin Sanderson, Orlando Voorn, Paul Mac, and many more. With previous releases on Hardgroove, Be As One Imprint, Suara, and more, the young DJ is one of the most exciting prospects in techno right now.

A name that hardly needs introduction Jereon Search has been at the top of his game since the 90s. Jeroen Search, who has been cited by many as an inspiration, personifies an accurate and straightforward interpretation of techno music. He has consistently been at the face of contemporary modern techno. Known for his genre-defying unique sound, energetic performances, and forward-thinking live shows. Releases on Axis, Token, KEY Vinyl, and Figure, to mention a few, as well as on his own imprint Search and other labels have cemented his name as one of the great innovators in techno.

We premiere Jereon Search & Pushmann’s collaboration ‘Avoid Capture’. The track is a high-energy trip through space and time as the pair put their minds together to bring a head-scrambling excursion surrounded by nefarious synth lines and swinging drum grooves. The pair have both notably released on Jeff Mills Axis imprint, and you can find them finding a common dominion within that sci-fi and futuristic sound that is often harnessed on Mill’s label.

Release Date: 30.06.

On the thirteenth solo release on his self-titled imprint, Berlin-based DJ/producer Amotik delivers another three tracks of the rolling, driving techno he’s been pushing for eight years. Leading the release, ‘Sattar’ brings pulsating bleeps and shimmering synths over a dark, pounding bass, while ‘Bahatar’ brings in punchy drums and soothing melodies, utilising lighter soundscapes and rumbling low-ends to guide us through this hypnotic workout. Closing out the release, ‘Tihatar’ combines shadowy stabs and dramatic synth lines that gradually build throughout the track for a tunnelling, late-night trip.

Releasing solo for years on his self-titled imprint, Amotik launched AMTK+ earlier this year to feature other artists via split EPs, releasing music by Deluka, Arthur Robert, Decka, and himself across the first two releases. With recent gigs at the likes of De School, E1, Tresor, and opening and closing sets at Berghain, Amotik has firmly cemented himself as a versatile and key player in modern Techno.

Amotik’s ‘Amotik 013’ drops on Vinyl on 30th June, followed by a digital release on 21st July 2023.

Two years have passed since his last release on Token Records, and now Jeroen Search is back with his unmistakable style for a lesson in techno production called ‘Shadow Dimension’. Stripped down and minimal, we’re reminded that the original character of this music can be found in the hissing of circuits and the impact of analog distortion.

  Wasting no time, Search kicks the record off at full pace with a spacey arpeggio and resonating percussion. Hiding ‘Light Spinner’ in initial obscurity, the Dutchman reveals steady intrigue by controlling tension and opening up his elements throughout its duration. The fluttering synthline is quickly exchanged for shuffled hi hats and a brutally monophonic lead. What begins as a rather two-dimensional track is given depth by levitating pads wide in the stereo image and competing 909 rides. Still a rhythm-heavy record, Search gives ‘Six Requests’ thrilling atmospheres to a throbbing core. Moving on to the B-side, the seasoned producer starts fresh with a warbly lead over a layered kick drum in ‘Ten Foot Radius’. Keeping things simple most of the time, Search fiddles lightheartedly with his parameters to turn his synth into almost noise over a steady percussion. The quirkiness of the record has a more aggressive underbelly, luring the listener into a club ready cut. Moving on to the closer ‘Restore Balance’, Search does just that. Finding a groove in a quicker percussion-line, bouncy keys hop about a fun but concentrated record. An ever evolving structure cutting along, he plays with the dry of his percussion and the wet of his synths, mastering the unique production style he’s known for.
