Berlin-based DJ and producer Francesco De Luca launches his own imprint and alias ‘Deluka’, with the premiere of his track "Infrared" off his upcoming first vinyl release 'Echoes,' which includes a stand-out remix by Spanish producer Orbe.

After leaving his signature on the labels of Detroit legends DJ Hyperactive’s 4trk and Jason Patrick’s Estetika, De Luca ventured off on his own to start No Signal together with his new project Deluka.

The launch comes after Deluka established himself by playing in some of the best clubs in the scene, starting in 2015 with a tour in the US invited by the crew behind Transmat Records. He has performed for the dance floors of legendary clubs such as Tresor, Arena, Kit Kat, Grießmühle, Suicide Circus, Alphabet and PAG in Israel & many others, till getting his residency at OHM Club in Berlin.

The 'Echoes’ EP reflects and embraces his Detroit-Techno roots, fusing the minimal with the groove by pairing light and dark structured techno with atmospheric textures and hypnotic loops. While Deluka embraces the listener with his warm sound, Orbe’s remix pushes you into a new dimension, adding dynamic and modern elements to the minimal muscled techno of the original track.

Christian Cambas is back and celebrates his return with an original track on one of his favorite labels.

Keeping things totally subliminal with a haunting melody and an apocryphal vocal snippet, we are kept locked in via the pulsating bass and commanding synths that seem to have been programmed in some kind of dismal future.

A remix from label boss T78 was essential to this release, and the original has been completely flipped on its head, with a big surprise halfway through, as only he knows how. Another brother-in-arms from the other side of the pond is up next, and of course we are talking about Durtysoxxx who based his version on the synth progressions and provided the heads-down vibe of the package.

UK duo Drumsauw seal the deal with a spacious mix, letting their rendition breathe effortlessly while keeping the production crystal clear.

With this EP Kaiserdisco wants to draw attention to mental illness and the use of music as a therapy.

As the boys are having some experiences with mental illness in their family and closer circle of friends, they know that affected people can use music to make themself feel better.

The EP contains three tracks. The first one is an intro, called „Paranoid“. The second one is called „Bipolar Disorder“ followed by the last track „Schizophrenic“.

„Paranoid“ consists of a repetitive chord melody, which starts quietly and dry. By using delay and reverb effects, the track builds up more and more energy until it finally discharges in a musical thunderstorm.

„Bipolar Disorder“ shows two different faces, similar to the symptoms of the disease. This proper techno track is running and running with it’s triple eights monoton synthline, gets fuller and increases more and more tension until it changes completely to show it’s second face and turns to an unexpected emptiness with a brutal and mind-blowing signature bass sound. 

„Schizophrenic“ finally comes up with a quirky and never ending, short melody which bores itself into your head and into your mind. This little synth theme feels like it is chasing you like a subliminal message, that wants to make you dance and go crazy.

Pan-Pot’s Second State delivers the next installment of their compilation series, welcoming fresh talent and label mainstays for a dynamic fusion of intensity, character and the thumping techno that the esteemed Berlin imprint is best-known for. 

Brazil’s @allanfeytor kicks off with twisted echoing melodies and mutated rotating sirens in ‘Portal’, immersing listeners into a lucid tunnel that characterizes the track’s name. @chrishirose and @thereasonyberlin, welcomed back to their mothership Second State, team up for ‘Guilty Bliss’ and deliver a shuddering beat with a kick that commands a groove throughout. Up next are Turkish producers @ferhatalbayrak and @kuvoka with ‘Tube Alloys’, where toms add another layer to the percussion on the track, before being complemented by chirping minor keys, while distorted claps and hi-hats join to inject a surge of energy. 

@frankyeffe presses on and gets straight to business with ‘Root’, a pummeling cut with rigorous kicks and a mesmeric vocal sample blended throughout. Fellow Italian @giovannicarozza provides the roller here with ‘Ambigramma’. Hi-hats and claps echoing in the distance are layered over a thundering kick-drum, building suspense before reverting back to play with our anticipation once again. Footwork’s head honcho @jay-lumen-official pays homage to his trademark heavy bassline and vocal samples in his contribution ‘Dust’, a rasping cut with a rebounding male vocal, that evolves into rave territory for its final ascent. @jurdeg proceeds with ‘Spandau’, a peak time chugging cut laced with an eerie demonic narrative for the lovers of the heavier kind of techno.

Warped keys and distorted kicks follow in @lucas-aguilera’s ‘Box Closed’, accompanied by chunky kick drums that punch through, and perfectly random synth notes which blend together with maximum effect. ‘RS01’ from Second State newcomer @patrick-milaa delivers us a more mainstage feel. Kick drums tremor throughout the track along with a synth lead that elicits a sinister atmosphere, while an acid line and bellowing horns keep listeners guessing. @richard-cleber showcases a stripped down cut with ‘Invasion’, a contemporary polished track that doesn’t compromise on the kick. Rounding off the 9th compilation of the label is Lithuania’s @djsamanta with ‘Hello’, leaving us with a flurry of spacey instrumentals amidst a trippy sliced up vocal sample.
