🎶 TBPOFT (The Best Part Of the Trip) like time travelers, they come back from the era of golden disco hits, the era of vinyl and funk to bring dance to the world of electronic music. Nowadays, Vinyl is the inter-temporal transmitter, their Gerber Wells, time-machine, their best part of the trip. 
• Guys always been interested in vintage musical instruments, which they often heard on vinyl. This album TBPOFT started writing in their small studio, surrounding themselves with people in the evenings, they filled the studio with stories and dances under the crunch of vinyl in cramped, but warm place. 
• Once they stumbled upon Estradin (an old Electro-Organ). That was dope!!! Someone would call it a piece of junk, garbage, someone, but not for TBPOFT. For them it was a feeling, it was warmth, it was the history guys could touch. That’s when musicians started to work on this material. It’s been with guys through time, and has enjoyed the best part of the trip.
• With all its pompous, easy mix of electronics and funk, Album states that it’s time to destroy the patterns, to think out of box, fight against prejudices and stereotypes, and to know yourself through dance. 
• "With a huge desire and passion we continue to create music that lives inside us, and which we want to share. We keep messing with time and being a part of the history which, perhaps, someone will want to come back to through music." 🚀

🎶 TBPOFT (The Best Part Of the Trip) как путешественники во времени, они возвращаются из эпохи золотых хитов диско, эпохи винила, фанка, чтобы привнести танец в мир электронной музыки. Сегодня винил - это их Герберт Уэллс, машина времени, лучшая часть их путешествия.
• Большой интерес у ребят всегда вызывали винтажные музыкальные инструменты, которые они нередко слышали на виниле. Этот альбом TBPOFT начинали писать еще на своей маленькой студии, окружая себя людьми по вечерам, они заполняли студию историями и танцами под хруст винила в тесноте.
• Однажды к музыкантам попал Эстрадин (советский электроорган). Группа была в восторге. Кто-то скажет, что это старьё и хлам, но не TBPOFT. Для них он был историей, к которой можно прикоснуться. Именно тот момент можно считать началом записи материала. Альбом прошел с ними через время и насытился лучшими частями их путешествия.
• Всей своей напыщенной, громкой смесью электроники и фанка, он заявляет, что самое время разрушить шаблоны, свободно мыслить, бороться с предрассудками и стереотипами, познать себя через танец.
• «Мы продолжаем создавать музыку, которая живет внутри нас, которой мы хотим поделиться. Продолжаем быть частью истории, в которую, возможно, кто-нибудь тоже захочет вернуться с помощью музыки» 🚀

«Курган і Agregat» – улюблений народний гурт усіх: від мажиків до силянів. 

Проїздом через Київ до мене завітали хіп-хопєри Аміль, Раміль і Жека (aka Жетон). Пацанів відігріли, нагодували та напоїли чаєм з імбиром і лимоном. Ми поговорили про вболівання за футбольні клуби з жалю й тусовочний Харків. Про голлівудського актора українського походження Роберта Діденка та майбутню кар’єру хлопців в українському кіно. Про зону комфорту й те, як я сплутав Кена Кізі з Джеком Керуаком.

#16 «Курган і Agregat» || Про село Близнюки, параною та варення з шишок

DZ'OB is an electroacoustic ensemble from Dnipro (Ukraine).
A cross-genre 7-piece orchestra crashes to the ground a well-established musical concept in which, for example, house and art music exist in completely different frames of reference. Eventually, DZ’OB not only synthesizes disparate genres, the band comes up with their unique, eclectic sound that blurs the line between epochs, schools and traditions. Piano Preludes by Shostakovich fused with bits and samples are reborn in the most incredible pieces of IDM. With the same radicalism in musical technique, DZ'OB treats songs of one of our time’s most eccentric DJs - Aphex Twin. Suchwise ensemble generates inconceivable instrumental metamorphosis: electronic music becomes academic with a wave of a cello bow.
DZ'OB is not about genres, but a new vision of the music itself.
