Born and raised in Santa Ana, California Blu3 Dymond was influenced early in life by her brother who introduced her to the poetic content of west coast contenders such as Ice Cube and Too Short. No stranger to struggle and being led by the motto “Always be prepared and never give up,” this self described “Artist” hopes to bring more than just hot lyrics; “I want to bring more substance to the table.”Attributing music to helping her through the life struggles she has faced, Blu3 Dymond is passionate about bringing new energy to the hip hop industry; which is currently dominated by veteran artists with few freshmen making it past their first LP.

The surge of new female hip hop artists fashioning themselves after mega stars like Nicki Minaj and Trina do not present a threat to this southern California lyricist. Boasting a multicultural audience, Blu3 Dymond is ready to join the long history of female rappers making important and valueable contributions to the game. Her Polynesian roots and diverse musical interests have created a sound that is not only hip hop but incorporates Rock, Classical, New Age, and Dubstep.
