Neither of us have tattoos nor hair on the chest, though we have been told that these are essentials to survive in our business. Luckily we have great friends with both tattoos and hair on the chest to give us advise when things are tough. One of these advisers once told us, that the first release often ends up completely different from the original idea, due to the fact that one has so many expectations... All these imaginations. 
Combined with perfectionism, one ends up spending too much time on details and the original idea disappears - this is a shame! To avoid this (unnecessary) "first-time-nervousness", we chose to start out with something as silly (to us at least), but classic, as a different version of "Bug a Boo" by Destiny's Child.
As a matter of fact, did you know that Beyoncé, LeToya, LaTavia and Kelly Rowland did exactly the same thing in the making of their single. Try listening to the original "Bug a Boo"- single and you will find clear references to Toto's classic from 1978 "Child's Anthem".

E3는 서울을 기반으로 활동하는 DJ/프로듀서이다. 영화 <기생충>에서 한국인이라면 익히 들어보았을 멜로디 위에 기정과 기우 두 남매는 그토록 원하던 신분 상승의 길로 통하는 마법의 주문, "제시카 외동딸 일리노이 시카고"를 외운다. E3는 이번 트랙에서 이 마법의 주문을 샘플링한 보컬을 재치있게 배치했다. 이번 트랙을 통해 기정이 그토록 되고 싶었던 제시카라는 가상의 인물로 완벽하게 빙의되어보자.
E3 is a Seoul-based DJ and producer. In her track ‘Jessica only child,’ E3 samples a dialogue from the film Parasite “Jessica, only child, Illinois, Chicago” sung in a tune recognized by many Koreans. In the film, Jessica and her attributes were created by the female protagonist (Ki-Jung) to deceive her employer and justify her desire to move up in a status-hungry society. ‘Jessica only child’ is a playful homage to the mind and aspirations of Ki-jung’s fictious character, Jessica.
