New to singing and songwriting, I love making music that makes me get up and dance, feel something beautiful, smile with joy or all of the above.  I record and produce my music and vocals with GarageBand on the iPad.  Influenced by a wide range of artists: Sade, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Enya, Coldplay, the Mamas and the Papas, Fleetwood Mac, Henri Mancini, Skye Edwards, the Rolling Stones, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Eric Clapton, Seal, Sting.. Hip hop, world music, the rhythms and melodies of Native American and African cultures, jazz, soft rock, electronica, hippie music, soul and old school r&b..

Recent transplant to Los Angeles from Pittsburgh, Chad has been inspired by the many raves they’ve attended since their late adolescents. Their djing is influenced by the many great peers in the queer scene and they always strive to capture some of that raw energy in their sets.

In the past they have worked with MESH in Pittsburgh create parties that showcase queer, trans, and non-binary djs from across North America in a safe and inclusive environment for all. They also have collaborated with other Pittsburgh staples such as Honcho, Jellyfish and Mostbeautifullest to throw the legendary Maybeland parties. 

Chad has been fortunate enough to play queer parties throughout the North American scene and can be frequently found in the woods at Honcho Campout where they played in 2017 and 2022.

Most recently Chad has been working the Chardogay drag and dance party here in Los Angeles as their resident DJ at the Silverlake lounge. You can catch them on the decks there every first Saturday of the month.

Efemèr is following
