Paris-based producer and live act Douran makes his Anjunadeep debut with the three-track EP ‘Sundancer’. His first two EPs, ‘Avalanche EP’ and ‘Rave To Infinity EP’, have amassed over 3m+ streams worldwide and gained press support including DJ Mag (France), Magnetic Magazine and Clash Magazine. 

Title track ‘Sundancer’ opens the EP, with soft piano melodies and ambient strings. ‘Slow Burner’ leads with an array of emotive strings whilst ‘Passing Lights’ features percussive-laden rhythms and warming vocals. Douran’s latest showcases his cinematic production style.

Douran - Slow Burner

The last few days had passed in a blur; the places she'd visited, the people she'd spoken to — it was all a muddle of hazy excursions and exchanges. Why her memory was failing her she didn't know, nothing had led her to this continuous daze she seemed unable to escape. It was as though she'd been walking around in a dream, unsure of what was reality and what was imagined. Could she break the cycle or would she be stuck in this purgatory forever?

Operating since 2017, Clash Lion has established itself as a platform for varying strains of techno, electro, indie dance and synth. Masterminded by producers TERR, Shall Ocin and Daniel Watts, it's no wonder the A&R continue to impress, and this time it's no different as they welcome Antic to the family. His Punch Drunk EP, which comes complete with a remix from Factory Floor's Gabe Gurnsey, works together elements of Indie Disco, electro and house, driven by vibrant synths and hypnotic vocals.

As 2022 draws to a close, Purified Records delivers a new selection of melodic gems in its latest VA compilation – Purified Fragments XIII. Opening with their instrumental cut ‘Wind’, German production outfit Diode Eins make their label debut. Floating across a laidback arrangement, the producers combine undulating synths, shuffling percussion, and bold instrumentals to enter a mystical realm. Namatjira teams up with Jelle van Leeuwen for a delicate and blissful offering ‘Reminiscent’, where the producers devise a stunning instrumental arrangement with a timeless feel. Frankfurt-based artist Paraframe closes out the compilation with ‘Euphoria’. Building a hypnotic soundscape with staccato notes and raw bass, the track turns with a mesmerizing drop that will keep listeners hooked across its duration

‘This December, Anjunadeep presents an eclectic collection of remixes from Leaving Laurel, Max Cooper & Rob Clouth, and Tom Demac. Remixing singles from Jon Gurd’s debut album ‘Lion’ released earlier this year, the four producers provide colourful reinterpretations, ranging from Cooper & Clouth’s glitched-out percussion, Demac’s warm enveloping chords, and Leaving Laurel’s introspective layered sound design.

Dedicated to his older brother, the ‘Lion’ album is the culmination of Jon’s experiences as a brother and father; his encounters with loss, and his subsequent progression as an artist and human being. The album has been championed by the likes of Solomun, Stephen Bodzin, Alan Fitzpatrick, Adriatique, Gorgon City, and Shadow Child.
