<b>Biography:</b>
The Grouch is one of the founding members of the internationally infamous crew, The Living Legends. Humbly beginning on a 4-track recorder nearly 15 years ago, The Grouch has steadily grown into one of the prominent figures within the independent hip hop scene. Known for captivating his listeners with his down to earth and truthfully poignant raps and production, The Grouch has successfully released over nine solo projects making this year’s, “Three Eyes Off The Time” his tenth solo release. In addition to his solo career, The Grouch has played an integral part in building the Living Legends brand, sound, and image. A consummate workaholic, The Grouch also has numerous groups outside of his solo career and LL collective, most notably: The Grouch & Eligh, Zion I & The Grouch, and The CMA with Living Legends crewmate, Luckyiam.

Eligh, a self-described “genre-breaking, obsessive bass fiend” has continued to sustain himself as a salient figure for over fifteen years within the increasingly fickle and rapidly revolving world of hip-hop. The Los Angeles native has maintained his respected status by fearlessly veering from a the traditional trajectory which is often limited to beats and rhymes. Instead, Eligh has chosen to fabricate projects that incorporate the gritty sounds of the UK dub scene, the unorthodox styling of indie rock, the lush guitars and honesty of folk music, and the complexity of jazz, all without losing the listener in a musically esoteric composition.

2018 will mark the release of Eligh's 10th official solo album. His last self produced album, Grey Crow, was a testament to his resilience against a drug addiction that nearly took his life 12 years ago. Grey Crow was the first official solo release from Eligh since 2003’s Poltergeist. Even with the seven-year gap between solo projects Eligh continued to contribute to a plethora of projects within that time frame which, most notably include, Living Legends albums, “Classic” and “The Gathering”; The Grouch & Eligh, “No More Greener Grasses” and “Say G&E!”; Eligh & Jo Wilkinson, “On Sacred Ground: Mother & Son”, and many more.

Eligh’s musical interest was piqued as middle schooler, and along with some friends formed the now defunct, yet legendary Log Cabin crew. That same crew would ultimately end up producing many of Los Angeles’s prominent hip-hop figures, including future crewmates, Murs and Scarub. After a stint in the Bay Area, which lead to a serendipitous gathering of minds, ideas and styles that formed the now world famous Living Legends crew, Eligh returned home to Los Angeles. Since returning home, Eligh has tirelessly produced classic material, being the main contributor to what many would dub the trademark, “Living Legends sound”. Outside of being a studio musician and rapper, Eligh has relentlessly toured and has performed on stages across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia and continues to deliver a captivating live show with his trademark rapid fire delivery, whether as a solo act or with his Legendary brethren. As a producer, Eligh has provided music for notable acts such as Living Legends, Murs, Rass Kass, El-P, wrestler John Cena, and continues to be a sought after producer by his peers.

In 2016, "Grand Tapestry" was released. A group formed by Eligh, Alam Khan, and Salar Nader, Grand Tapestry is a unique mix of classical Indian music, and hip hop, in line with Eligh's "Genre breaker" moniker. That journey is just beginning, and he see's the groups potential as limitless. His goal to score film had always been apart of his story, and Eligh hopes to speak it into existence in the coming months.

PR🎧PER ( DJ Proper ), is an American record producer, disc jockey, event host, video director, and civil rights / social justice activist originally from Staten Island, NYC and now resides in Los Angeles, California. He is a frequent collaborator with South African musical artist Eyezon, Andre Felle, Dice The Nicest, and main production partner Solpowa. He has produced numerous official remixes for musical icons such as the J Lamotta, Black Eyed Peas, Nas, Mos Def, and Talib Kweli. Proper’s production style has been described as festival-friendly timeless music, funky classical sounds with a new groundbreaking musical style, and is a turntablist know to perform with a hip hop style live band with a large horn section similar to James Brown. He is the founder of the Social Justice Association and Civil Rights Forum, a collective of international artists called Worldwide Familia, and host of the influential podcast "Equality Radio with Dj Proper" which streams on all major platforms.

Dj Proper he has blessed the turntables at The Whiskey A Go Go, House of Blues Sunset Strip, The Troubadour, Club Nokia, Pico Sports Arena , Saint Rocke, Home Depot Center and countless more venues throughout his career .

All about pleasing the crowd, you’ll always hear a diversity of music at a Proper event depending on the production from the various rave festival performances with electro ,dnb to dubstep blends, holding it down spinning roots reggae to dancehall massive riddums and of course, the hip-hop mix  ranging from bringing it back to rocking the spot dance parties to that crowd moving conscious sounds you’ve come to expect from Dj Proper's energetic performances.  As more and more celebrities & iconic promoters worldwide come calling for his services, Proper can be found spinning at parties for official events of VH1 Save The Music Foundation, UNICEF , Heal The Bay , Red Bull and as a featured marque performer on shows with the legendary Run Dmc, Redman, Fat Joe, Pharcyde, Freestyle Fellowship,Sean Paul, Cypress Hill, Wu Tang Clan, Visionaries, Dilated Peoples, & many more unnamed. He also has been featured with exclusive dj cameos in music videos both played in rotation on MTV and BET, for Flipmode Squad artist  N.O.R.E . and by NBA star Carmelo Anthony with his label Krossover Entertainment artist Cassidy premiered on tv show 106 and Park.

Additionally, his creative official remix projects  are considered “classics” and are the talk of both the street and the “blogosphere.” Several positive press reviews were confirmed with, the largest mixtape website online Datpiff.com, gave him 5 of 5 stars and taken note of Dj Proper, with his mixtape release of  " From My Soul Vol 1 " . His original music with collaborations with some of the hottest uprising talents in music today can be found on iTunes, Soundcloud, Reverbnation , & LastFM. 

With his musical ear, creativity, and marketability, Proper is becoming known as the  “go-to” producer for today's music scene with established artist and many times discovering then cultivating unknown talent to grow to next level in the business .He is a host & dj that keeps the crowd always positive with his social conscious message and classic sound at A-list productions ranging from festivals worldwide, exclusive private parties,  to premiere events in a town near you.

I’m all about conscious rap, actually trying to say something. Whether it be to educate, motivate, or just an expression of what’s on my mind at the time.
