I've been listening to him on Soundcloud for sometime now, and he is a DJ who caught my attention from the first moment for his exquisite taste, his great talent and his great selection of songs with which I identify in most cases. Listening to an Arjan session is introducing you little by little to his style and once you realize it you are already involved in a fantastic journey, full of quality and good taste, like in this collaboration where you go, little by little to hypnotizing you until you stay totally intoxicated in a beautiful dream. It is a pleasure to be able to do this collaboration with him and I hope you like it. It is a pleasure for me too to be able to find and share these great talents with all of you. Arjan's connection to deep, soulful music began in the 90s. As a young boy he could be found digging through his parents' record collection and listening to the masters. Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Depeche Mode to name but a few. Growing up in the Netherlands has allowed Arjan to be immersed in one of the world's great dance music scenes. He has been on countless dance floor journeys with legends such as Masters at Work, Underworld and Hernan Cattaneo. These experiences have deeply influenced his DJ style and his passion to share the music. Arjan is one of Amsterdam's rising DJ talents in the progressive house scene. He provides listeners and party-goers with deep, melodic journeys designed to please the mind, body and soul.

My linux won't boot so I'm presently forced to use Windows, and because of the bug in Soundcloud's system my account is all messed up when I don't use a VPN to connect which I am unable to do now... trying to get help from my VPN provider. What I wrote below was heart felt but presumptuous and pretentious.  I would have to not be stupid myself to be allowed to claim such a thing.  More importantly though, I don't believe it is correct or accurate.  These people are probably not stupid but just don't care.  Justice is a collective thing and many if not most people seem to live in bubbles.  It is perhaps economic oppression which is responsible, they just don't have the resources, the time, the energy to be concerned about what lies behond that bubble.  It used to be fine but there's this thing they call globalization which makes this increasingly impractical or impossible.

mid January 2024:
Justice and vengeance are not the same.  Apparently most people are too stupid to see the difference.  Unfortunately it is not something unique to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and not unique to group conflicts.

What happened to intelligence?  Aren't we supposed to be the "intelligent" specie.

DJ for various occasions till the age of 25, I always loved electro music till my life changed and turned to be  more demanding, leading me to stop mixing . However, I stayed attentive to the world of electronic music, and more specifically to the « lounge » and « deep house » style played at the Buddha Bar, which remains for me  a source of inspiration.  
Allowing me to be in  direct contact with thousand of people, the 2018  and 2019 technoparades gave me the opportunity  and motivation to go back to the turntables, while trigerring my return into the electro-music world. I was then able to mix sounds accumulated for years, turning the whole thing into an incredible experience.  I now produce my own pieces of Deep House,  Organic House, Ethno Deep House, Tech House, and Lounge, using tones reminiscent of  the Middle and Far East, Eastern Europe and India.  I am just at the beginning of a new and fascinating adventure. Thank you for listening, repost...likes...
