His subjects were the dead, puppets of flesh held together through his quick work, re-introduced to the harshness of life in better fitting forms for this ill world, returned to this reality through his skill alone… the power of the REANIMATOR.

MINDSCAPE brings his unique and fierce take on d&b back to his home label with REANIMATOR CHAPTER ONE on EATBRAIN, the first part of a series of 3 EPs, that culminate in the REANIMATOR LP. As one of the imprint’s most recognisable figureheads, Mindscape deftly demonstrates why that’s the case with the 4 tracks within delivering distinct and succinctly powerful ideas to the table. MANBEARPIG carries a swagger dripping with pure and deliberately paced attitude, whilst SHUT DOWN (feat. COPPA) rides on a fast-moving bassline and percussive flurry. Two talents, one from Lithuania and the other from Estonia. Together Marius and Mark make a formidable team. Recently emerging from the European underground scene, they tie together the darkest aspects that arena has to offer. And this brand new release epitomizes not just the work which Logam's prominent label has to offer, but also what Marius Kirjutaja and Mark Bogdanovas are about to bring to the world of drum & bass.

Going under the pseudonym Mean Teeth, they expose another level of destruction to your speakers and with the help of tastemaker Trilo they're about to prove unstoppable. With only four previous releases under their belt, once before on US torch holder Santoku as well as Bad Taste and Plasma, it's time to fully indulge in the sound they've established from their very first output.

Featuring a nastily foreboding intro, ‘Hatch' leaves you freefalling through revving bass and crushing snare. Its bassline zips and tears through the composition with every layer gradually bolstering the mix. You're made acutely aware that these guys mean business and they're not about to go easy on you. It's the type of techy, no holds barred drum & bass which has made the genre so overpowering in recent months.

Like a science fiction movie, ‘Leviathan' focuses primarily on atmospherics throughout your introduction. Before long, you become enamoured by the crunchiness of its bass riddims, with each pad adding another stepping stone within its configuration. It's lumbering, whilst still swift in the way it throttles your aural senses and you'll find yourself unable to untangle yourself from its grasp.

Already showing themselves to be of a high caliber with their previous two tracks, ‘Escape Pod' follows the same pattern, fluctuating quickly between frequencies and elevating bass notes. Crushing snare adds another sphere, once again returning to those carefully spaced out rifts which are slowly becoming their signatures.

Then lastly, comes ‘Gun Squad'. Featuring Trilo, who's already established himself amongst his competitors, they combine to create an unfathomable force. Trilo brings the pain, demonstrating why he's so revered whilst he merges his production style with Mean Teeth to exorcise a demon of musical proportions. Together, they round up an EP that'll launch their reputation, as well as bring Santoku even further onto the forefront.

Following their biggest year yet – with more than 30 live events worldwide, 14 EPs and 2 LPs in their wake - EATBRAIN enter 2017 with a powerful statement in the form of evolved entity SYNERGY (formerly Segment & Concept Vision, whose Mammoth EP was one of 2016’s most successful releases). The HELION EP delivers a heavy payload with 5 tracks of brutally refined neuro destruction from the onset, with title track HELION weaving between heavy rattling distortion and precise break insertions that evolve into an aggressively syncopated 2 step attack. Aleksey Strokov know internationally as TOBAX is a young high calibre Drum & Bass DJ and producer who’s latest releases have won the support and praise from the likes of Noisia, June Miller, Ed Rush, Mejfus and A.M.C.
Having started his Drum & Bass career in the summer of 2010 under the name ‘Electronic Star’ Aleksey decided on the name TOBAX later that year. His music favours the harder side of DnB whilst also incorporating aspects of atmospheric backdrops in his music.
2011 is where Tobax career began to gain serious momentum as he started publishing his music by working with a number of smaller labels. In May of the same year TOBAX took to the stage in St Petersburg playing at ‘Griboedov’ where his mix was also featured on the radio and in 2013 TOBAX released successful tracks under Fokuz and Citrus Recordings.
The arrival of 2015 saw releases of his VIP version of ‘Mezzanine’ under Titan Records followed by his VIP version of ‘Lockdown’ which was released on the ‘5 Years of Titan Records Compilation, and it was these releases which gave him the launch pad for international bookings DJ’ing at nights across Europe such as the award winning ‘Double Trouble’ in Prague.
TOBAX is a DJ and Producer who pushes boundaries and in 2016 he teamed up with Prague based UK artist LifeSize MC to release ‘Extaziest/Golem’. Also collaborations with Disprove, Malux, Current Value.
With bookings already coming in and new releases being finalised, 2017 looks to be another exciting year for this young heavyweight producer from Russia who gains support from the likes of prolific artists such as Phace and Current Value.
