Sheffield-based producer 'Oldboy' from the 128kbps collective makes his long-awaited debut on ec2a with a heavy-hitting 2-track dubplate just in time for Record Store Day.

We travel to Australia once again in our UKBM Premiere series, where B&H Records are set to release another cracking various artists compilation.

The Melbourne-based label has seriously impressed over the last year or so with their Taken To The East compilations, a multi-genre, various artists series which featured the incredible Blaze Heat by Akul which we premiered here.

The new project, entitled Bottom Of The Barell, features 8 brand new tracks ranging from banging breaks to shuffling footwork and continues the label's impressive form.

We are super happy to share an exclusive premiere of the second track from the compilation, the beautifully melodic, jungle-inspired Case Of The Can by also Melbourne-based artist IsGwan.

OMR011 comes to us with a 5 cuts of deep bass breakbeat pleasure.
Weighty Jungle is welcomed into the Omertà familia with their signature sound, clean breaks and deep bass.
After smashing out their B2B set with label boss Artificial Red at the last Omertà event, we thought it was about time they graced the platform.

The other side of the release comes from another label head and founder T-Break, with 2 tracks of classic ruffage and break chaos.
The final track is a remix by Weighty J, the cherry on the top of a stellar release.

As always this will remain a Bandcamp exclusive for a few weeks, streaming will start on Soundcloud and open up to other sites soon.

ec2a artist @mush-killa follows up his Lovin' U EP with a coupla' remix dubs on 10" wax. Locked On legend @lavonz lays down the 2-step remix for 'Big Smoke', the instrumental as effortless as MK's rhyme schemes. Ec2a further showcases Mushkilla’s writing X flow combo that could well be unrivalled in the game today. 

Rising Yorkshireman @GLOCKTA covers Lovin' U, a touch smoother than the tuff 2-step darkness in his 2020 discography; the subtle dub references and heavenly jazz riff perfectly compliment the transition to instrumental layer for Mushkilla’s increasingly recognisable tone. 

This will be the 16th in the 50 unit release series for ec2a, as they continue to provide a platform for rising producers in a desirable format for the artists involved and vinyl heads alike. Launching Sunday 29th November and digitally 2 weeks after. Get to know!
