This recording is from a live improvisation concert we did on Louisiana with newly founded Project Mountain Yorokobu. Project Mountain Yorokobu is founded by Henrik Vibskov in May 2012. This first concert was a collaboration between Henrik Vibskov(Drums and things), Ayi Solomon(Percusion), Alain Apaloo(Guitar) and Ane Trolle(Vocals). 
The concept changes from every show and different musicians apear and the sound variates.

Project Mountain Yorokobu - Experiment # 1

Shika Shika is very proud to present the new album of one of our co-founders 

Fulgor is the deepest movement in Barrio Lindo´s discography until today. Produced in the last two years on constantly tour around Europe and South America. 
In his third album, Agustín Rivaldo is strongly inspired by the humanity and the way that people connect through dance and the body in many different ways. 

Barrio Lindo celebrates his third album with special featuring for second time argentinean band Weste and producer Jin Yerei, german producer and composer Andi Otto, ecuatorian band Huaira and sax player Grabiel) 

The musical inspiration cames once again from Southamerica. After his second album “Albura” (2017), Rivaldo works with rhythms from the last century like argentinean Murga, ecuatorian San Juanito, brazilian Chocalho, and centroamerican Reggeaton. The sound of the album has a big presence of metals and springs sparkling in a dark ambient. His use of synthsizers predominate in this nighttime universe that Fulgor cross.

We are more than happy to present ME:MO, the first Chinese producer to feature in our Botanas series. On these two beautifully chilled tunes the renowned Beijing based producer creates a feeling of warmth and intimacy through soft guitar arpeggios, floating vocals and delicate synths.

ME:MO, AKA Zhai Ruixin,  started making music in 2001 and has become a key figure in China's underground electronica, IDM scene and DIY scene. Alongside running the Fruity Shop and Spacefruity labels, he oversees a small venue and even DIY publishing project from Beijing. He was also a member of the seminal label Shanshui and has released music on many of China's well known indie labels .

me:mo - The Moment When Sunset Fades Away

Eccodek has emerged as one of the leading lights in the global electronic scene. Based in Canada, the project is guided by producer, multi-instrumentalist and remixer, Andrew McPherson. From its humble beginnings in early 2002, the band has gone on to release 5 albums, including their recent searing, live recording, Living for Live. Their blend of dub, funk, jazz and cinematic electronics, alongside stunning vocal and instrumental performances by an ever deepening well of cultural collaborators, has put them at the top of the world fusion scene. With 3 releases on U.S.'s White Swan Records and numerous releases through Real World Records, Six Degrees, Buddha Bar and more, Eccodek continues to push the fusion vibe in new and exciting directions.

2011's Remixtasy saw the band's earlier work remixed by a tastemaker's list of producers, reimagining tracks from More Africa in Us, Voices Have Eyes and the Juno-nominated Shivaboom. Heavyweights like Transglobal Underground, Six Degrees' Jef Stott, Dubmatix, EarthRise SoundSystem, Real World's Syriana, Adham Shaikh and Delhi 2 Dublin's TSpoon created fresh interpretations of Eccodek's catalogue. Eccodek mainman Andrew McPherson gave the redux treatment to 2 radical redubs from the first album - an Afrobeat throwdown and a sensuous Steppers dub odyssey. A great way to celebrate 10 years.... but sights are now set on the release of their 4th studio album in spring 2013. (a stunning collaboration with Malian griot Jah Youssouf) There's no telling what exotic shore the Eccodek mothership will wash up on next.
