“Carnaval Callejero Himnos de Club” es el disco que consolida el viaje que Borchi lleva recorriendo en los últimos dos años para llevar el sonido de las bandas de carnaval callejero al soundsystem de club.

Apoyado en la composición por Asaph Sánchez en el Saxofón y Gary Anzures en la Tuba/Sousaphone, con quienes también comparte los shows en vivo de este proyecto, en este disco Borchi recorre combinaciones de ritmo y melodías tanto inesperadas como llenas de energía. 

“Jiggy”, el sencillo que acompaña este lanzamiento, es un gran ejemplo de esto. 

Se trata de una historia de 3 minutos y medio donde la energía del carnaval callejero y la potencia del bajo en un soundsystem se unen en la búsqueda por el ritmo perfecto. Prepárense para un hip hop instrumental con un groove lleno de sampleadelia tropical y africana que explota con una línea de metales increíblemente contagiosa y alegre. Si les gusta Quantic, Bosq, Magic Drum Orchestra, Frente Cumbiero o inclusive Antibalas, este track está hecho para sus oídos.

Inner Symphony is proud to present Tenderheart, an emerging Ukrainian producer, debuting on the label with his EP titled “Divinity”. This atmospheric EP is a pure reflection of its title, and is compiled from three minimalistic tracks by Tenderheart as well as a Soul Button remix, proving us that beauty is simplicity.

The original track “Divinity” opens the collection. Truly ethereal, it evokes multiple feelings of blissful wonder and long yearned discovery. Its liquid currents of melodies slowly induce the desire to forget oneself in the melancholic invigoration.

Soul Button puts his own spin with a remix of “Divinity”. Its sound is uplifting and dynamic, with his classic melodic mood. Soul Button adds in some playfulness and creates a sense of youthful naiveté.

Third is the original track titled “Purity”. Unlike the first two, it has a slightly moody disposition. Coloured by illusive whispers and glassy echoes, it radiates true energy that is direct and sensual for the listeners to indulge in.

“Dancing On Water” is the last track of this captivating EP. As it gains pace, it washes away consciousness from the uncertainties, leaving to enjoy the honest melodies.

Silvio La Cava (AKA Silvio Bondage), from Milan (Italy), began his DJ career in 2000 at The Base in Milan, an important and iconic club which has hosted some of the best music parties in the north of Italy. Silvio went on to join the line up at “Colazione da Tiffany” (Breakfast at Tiffany's), a legendary party which has toured many of the major nightspots in Italy, and selects music for some of the most prestigious Designers’ fashion shows.
Silvio turned to production in 2010; with a sound that fuses Electronic, Slow, Downtempo and Deep House, featuring atmospheric airs and deep grooves.

Don Mescal, who djs for more than 20 years now, can be seen as magician of musical diversity, a character full of energy & love, who has a huge repertoire of songs that will catch your senses and awakens your emotions. Inspired by folkloric multiculturalism, he loves to experiment with the traditions of world music and knows how to transfer it into a modern perspective to brew an electronic-music-elixir with that extra drop of mescal flavor. His unique musical voyage combines a well-selected myriad of styles from Folktronica, Rub-a-Dub, Jungle & Tribal with a joyfully flamboyant vibe. He has toured around the world and got crowds dancing in clubs and festivals such as Boomtown, Burning Man, Eclipse Festival.
Furthermore Don Mescal is the co-founder of Cosmovision Records, a new music label and collective created by a mix of immigrants from Latin America, Europe and locals from Canada, based in Montréal, working together in a collaborative and inter-dependent way through a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary artistic platform, believing in the value of different cultures, art and the universe itself.

Our dear friend and amazing artist Radka Tiarksova is providing us another time a beautiful piece of visionary art of Radka Soulart for our beloved cover art-podcast-ensemble. We're more than thankful and happy to have this special collaboration and to have the possibility to share with all of you her unique art which is as lively, colorful & profound as the life we call reality.

Influenced by this tropical scenario, the Brazilian DJ/Producer from Santos seeds around cities and jungles for the most popular classics of Brazilian music to the world. At the Carnival land, the mix of different cultures also reverberated into music, creating a singular diversity of musical styles, instruments and rhythms. Through a cosmic journey, melodies of South American forests, percussions, basses, leads, ethnic instruments and voices align together in a psychedelic tuning that might take the listener to another state of mind.

It was in September 2016 that Basy Tropikalne began operating as a netlabel and the first release came in a form of a Latin American compilation. Following the success of that album – which was featured among others by Indie Hoy, Cassette Blog, Sounds and Colours and tropicalbass.com - now it is time for a second installment which brings as many as eighteen previously unreleased tracks by a mixture of already recognized and rising and promising producers from all over the continent.

This massive compilation starts with Cigarra who has been doing an amazing work promoting female producers from Latin America with her work as the manager of Hystereofônica platform. Her uplifting track is followed by extremely talented Di Laif from Guatamela who came up with a deep and ominous composition called ‘Ominous’. Next up are the wonderful minds of Rafa Caivano and Lisandro Sona for whom this may actually be the last song in a long time under the alias of Klik & Frik as their big comeback with the Frikstailers project is planned for the next month. Right after them there are two fellow Argentinians – Maich presents delicate ‘Verde’ with a Caribbean touch whereas Kaleema turns to Africa and focuses her production on field recordings from Kenya.

Another remix and at the same time the longest track on the release comes from Liman producer Renzo Zong who has tried his chances on ‘Niña Salvaje’ by Jorge Mestanza and María Cristina Simon and changed it into something more profound. Subsequent track belongs to Inti Kunza, Santiago de Chile underground legend and one of the La Chimba Discos founders who jumps in with the hypnotizing ‘Peuma’. ‘Balada de Aventurança’, in turn, is delivered by Brazil’s Projeto Mujique who once again proves his skills in mixing the guitar sounds with electronic music.

Moving on we bump into a magical moment of witnessing the first ever collaboration between some of Costa Rica’s finest artists: producer Nillo and vocalist Javier Arce who created a masterpiece titled ‘Lamento de Aïa’. Then we are treated with back-to-back tracks from Buenos Aires-based acts as hard-hitting Camanchaca duo’s ‘Seneca’ is followed by a decent song from Uruguay-born Xanducero (just listen to this wonderful drums in the second part of ‘Aguilucho en mi Ventana’…).

After that there is the fastest track on the whole album with Ecuador’s Ataw Allpa remixing last year’s ‘Candirú’, the effect of collaboration between himself and Brazilian DJ Nirso who also appears on ‘Basy Tropikalne # 2 (Latin America)’ just few tracks further into the release. Brazil is also where ElPeche hails from and his major contribution to the compilation was not only mastering it but also handing over his own composition called ‘Cuicwah’.

‘Daisukidesu’ is a work by Argentina-born Germany-based Kumbale Records founder Pocho who created a kind of cinematic cumbia song sampling anime – hence its Japanese title. Ore Rüb , the name of the next project, may sound mysterious but the producer behind it is no other than Andreh Torres, previously known as Nacho Libre. It is a great honor to present the debut track of his new alias in the Basy Tropikalne release.

Beautiful and melodic ‘Renjasé’ by Mr. Toé of Konn Recordings perfectly introduces the true gem that is hidden at the very end of the compilation. Colombia's Cerrero and El León Pardo once again reinterpreted one of the Afro-Colombian legendary groups to create a magnificent dub remix of a classic song.

ElPeche - Cuicwah (feat. Furmiga Dub)

Räubermukke is a Berlin based producer who creates clear, deep, and slow music. This offers the listener a pleasant and decelerating experience. Remixes from esteemed producers as Ninze, Landhouse & Raddantze, and Mente Organica but also newcomers like Le Vold, Caraúna, and Sarmoung elevate the EP to a place where music starts to touch the heart.
