BASSment JAMS has been an on going channel streaming in many BASSments across Minneapolis, Minnesota. We have been supporting local and international DJs since 2013. 

This program’s mission is to create a space for artists to tell their story. The BASSment has been a place for so many artists to feel free to play music they may not normally get to play out. During the interview segment the guest artist will get to talk about where they have come from, things they are working on and where they would like to see themselves going in the future.

His goal is to continue the art of storytelling through music. Creating multi genre sets with Jungle, Dnb, Techno, House, Garage and Dubstep. Always searching for music that gets him wanting to continue to dive deeper into the history of sound system culture.

Mike McClure aka Autokinetic has been performing live electronic music since the earliest days of the Minneapolis rave scene. Coming up alongside acts like Freddy Fresh, Woody McBride, and DVS1, his approach to electronic music is unmistakably informed by his long involvement in Minneapolis techno culture. Earlier in his career, Autokinetic produced hard, 909-driven acid and now focuses on deeper, more spacious techno grooves. His full-hardware live performances have an unmistakable after-hours feel that is true to his roots.

Autokinetic's recorded material is often captured in one take, keeping the real-time and human aspects of the music intact. McClure also performs as AutoClub with Craig Lambert (Midnight Music Club). You can find his music on Mistress Recordings, Fixed Rhythms, Electric Music Foundation, Trope Recordings, and Music Man, as well as an imprint co-managed with Freddy Fresh, Analog Records.
