Another orchestration of a piano sonata for string quartet created for the orchestration and arranging module of my degree. Unfortunately I have no time to play around with the mix as I have other stuff to get on with. I have done my best with the bowing of the instruments, yet it is a lot of work to get this precise using a computer and sometimes what is heard on this recording differs from that which would be played by a real quartet reading the score. For instance, the first time spiccato is present on this recording it is represented in the score as portato/Loure. However, there is a section where spiccato is requested of the players, but in some cases u are hearing marcato from the cello as I dont have the samples to represent the score Identically. Also, the round robin for repeated notes etc etc. Could go on forever about the stuff I am unhappy with! Hope you enjoy what I have managed anyway!!
